Just coming back to this one as it looks like it still hasn't updated - logo in the pack is still showing the old club name (they look the same otherwise). Also, Aston Villa (603) seems to be showing different logos at different sizes. The main one is the current logo, but the smaller ones all seem to be using a retro one.

@Derek - I'll do a big post in the forums at some point documenting the save, but as some payoff for seeing your work turn into something tangible, here are some screenshots of your work in my game.

I'm glad you like them! Once your badge is finalised, we'll get the final graphic pack sorted. Do you know how to amend .xml files for graphics packs, and do you know how to use the editor (pre-game or in-game) to make sure the game knows what kits you're assigning?

Provisional kits. Pending a new badge of course so I'll fix placements once that's finalised. Thoughts? Any big changes you'd want made? The home kit I've kept clean and simple, while I've made kits based on the flags of Hungary and Romania respectively for away and third to represent the historic relationship. I've chosen Nike as they seem to be the most popular kit manufacturer in the Romanian top flight. The away shorts and socks would also be used as alternatives along with the home shirt where a different configuration became necessary. Happy to make radical changes as desired!

As a 'pay it forward' for me having my badges done, once your badge is finalised let me know if you'd like some kits made up. I use the FM Kit Creator but I can use your custom badge, any sponsors you like, and can knock up three full kits in both 2d and 3d to fit with your ideas (but would need a general brief rather than a hyper-focused one as I'm better at putting together existing resources rather than creating graphics from scratch). The Welshman in me is captivated by the dragon-like imagery.

Appreciate it! I've got a lot of use out of your CPD Abertawe designs. I'll post in the forums in the next season or two once my save hits the 20 season mark to see what has come of it all! For Ely Rangers, I would say that the colours should be near the colours I've used, but I've no problem with some artistic licence to get a design the creator is happy with. I'm using custom kits too and I can adapt the kits quite easily, so if an extra tertiary colour gets thrown in or the shades of blue/black are changed that's fine. Here's the home kit as it stands below if it's any inspiration: With Swansea Royals, I think it would be appropriate for them to be colour matched to a Union Jack. The shades I've used are taken from the similar Rangers crest, although as you've 'flagged' the issue up, it may be better to use the Union flag spec colours found here: https://www.flaginstitute.org/wp/uk-flags/union-flag-specification/ As for shapes, I think either two shields, or one shield and one circle. I don't mind specifically which one uses a circle if you choose one, but just for variety's sake I don't want a league full of circles! Appreciate the interest as always.

I was wondering if anyone fancied doing a better job of creating two custom logos than the ones I've managed? One is for a real (very small) side, and the other for an entirely fictional one. Both sides are being 'influenced' (editor shenanigans) to become my main league rivals in the Welsh league to my CPD Abertawe side. The first one is for a real team, Ely Rangers (351022). They are based in Cardiff, play in an Inter Milan style home kit, and are known as the Griffins. My effort is below but I'm not happy with it, and would love if someone could come up with something more professional. The other is a fictional side, called Swansea Royals. I have not designed them to be a particularly likeable side. They are overly interested in the sectarian issues around the Old Firm, strongly identifying with Ulster protestantism, Britishness and the Monarchy. Their kit is similar to that of Rangers, and the badge certainly reflects that inspiration too, but without being a complete 'copy'. I've tried to introduce a hint of Welsh celtic flair, but not so much as to overrule the main identity. The badge I've come up with is below but again I'd welcome a better effort than mine!

Could I double check if this one has been updated? It looks like it's not in newer packs - if it missed a deadline and will be in a later set then no worries!

First, see a collection of images to fill in a number of them (with details in the filenames). Below the images, please see a list of admin fixes to fill in the remainder where you already have the images prepared. If I've gone through it correctly, this should allow you to mark the Spanish folder as completed. C.D. A few extra Welsh clubs attached, details in filenames. After this, all the remaining missing Welsh clubs (as listed on Sortitoutsi) are long extinct - I'm going to pass on that information to the SI researchers to try to get them marked as extinct so that they disappear from the club list.

@Derek hi mate, the additional info I've added is that the ID numbers for youth and reserve teams is dynamic - it doesn't come from the database, but is generated at the start of the save. This means that some people will see the same IDs if they have similar setups, but others will have difference especially if they have teams added to the database via editor data packs. You don't need to overwrite the existing logos with new ones, as this approach won't work due to the above way the game works and will just add to the problem in the long term. The way to solve the issue is to remove the entries entirely from the config file, so that even if people still have the logos from an old download the new config file you send out that overwrites the old one ignores those logos with the ID numbers of teams not in the database. I hope this makes sense - happy to discuss further if I haven't explained clearly either with more text or some sort of voice call at a point!
