AC Savoia 1908

Hi Derek and fellow creators,

Very excited to have found your website and grateful for the service you offer.  Will definitely leave a donation as appreciate the work you do.

I will setup my own database, as you’ve understandably mentioned you don’t have time to databases.  Plus, I think I might use this club identity for both a 2024 save and maybe using a retro dataset from the golden era of Serie A in late 90s/early 00s.

I’m guessing then that logo and kits is what I need?  Let me know if you need more information …

I’ve got a strange plan to hijack Torino FC and impose a modified version of the identity of lower division club SSD Savoia 1908 FC, which I will delete as a club.  Let me know if you see any problems for me in doing this in the database?

I have a couple of questions regarding the database (I haven’t set up a club since the days of Championship Manager):

-          I can see that I need to enter the logo image file path in the “Pictures” section of the club in the editor. I’ll delete the Torino logos and use that file number on the new logos.  Is that ok?

-          For the various “Jersey” sections, I assume I just change the data so that they look as I want?

Is there anything else I’m missing?

 

Information for Logo and Jerseys:

- club name: AC Savoia 1908

- logo:

- basic shield shape;  red background and white cross; gold outline to the shield; crown from the current Savoia logo above the shield

- ie relatively similar to the current Savoia logo, but without the gold wreath surrounding, and with a gold outline instead of black, as well as some additions …

- ACS in gold letters imposed over the centre of the cross, similar style of overlapping letters to Real Madrid and Inter Milan logos

- 1908 in small gold letters below ACS, sized to be same width as ACS

- 1^st kit:

- jersey red with white cross, logo on left chest, white Nike swoosh on right chest, Qatar Airways (main sponsor, same font as PSG) in red over centre of white cross;

- white shorts with red Nike swoosh bottom right;

- red socks, with white stripe at top

- gold trim as suitable

- (basically it will be an inverted Inter Milan centenary jersey)

- 2^nd kit:

- jersey savoy blue (which is the azzuri blue), with logo right, white Nike left, Qatar Airways white;

- savoy blue shorts, white Nike swoosh;

- savoy blue socks

- 3^rd kit – surprise me!

Hi - could you also do an option for the kits without the Qatar sponsorship.  This will be more appropriate for a retro save.
