The GSP Stadium (Gymnastic Club Pancypria Stadium), located in Strovolos, Nicosia, is the largest and most modern football venue in Cyprus. Officially opened on October 6, 1999, to replace the aging old GSP Stadium in central Nicosia, the state-of-the-art sports complex features a current all-seater capacity of 22,859 spectators. It serves as the proud home ground for Nicosia’s fierce football rivals, APOEL FC and Omonia Nicosia, while also functioning as the primary venue for the Cyprus national football team. Beyond local league action, the UEFA Category 4 arena has hosted historic UEFA Champions League group stage nights—including APOEL's legendary run to the quarter-finals in 2012—as well as major international music concerts.
