The Allwyn Arena (historically and traditionally known as the Agia Sophia Stadium, and formerly called the OPAP Arena) is a football stadium located in Nea Filadelfeia, Athens, Greece. It serves as the official home ground of AEK Athens FC. Completed in October 2022 on the historic grounds of AEK’s former Nikos Goumas Stadium, the venue blends hyper-modern stadium design with historic Byzantine architecture. Its structural look is defined by four prominent corner towers supporting a white membrane canopy roof. Right in front of the main pavilion sits a monumental steel sculpture of a Two-Headed Eagle, the historic cultural emblem of AEK and its roots tracing back to Constantinople refugees.
