PAC Omonia 29M FC (officially known as People's Athletic Club Omonia 29is Maiou) is a unique, fan-owned professional football club based in Nicosia, Cyprus. The club was founded on May 29, 2018, by the radical left-wing ultras group "Gate 9" in a fierce ideological protest against the privatization and corporate sell-off of the original AC Omonia Nicosia. Reclaiming traditional socialist and fan-controlled principles, the club rapidly scaled the ranks of Cypriot football, winning three lower-division league titles and executing four promotions in just six years to reach the top-tier Cypriot First Division.
