Moderators cameosis Posted March 10 Moderators Posted March 10 they just picked a random font that they liked (two actually, more on that below). the text is set in masque, a freeware font - it doesn’t have digits, so they used a secondary font (i found drive, not 100% identical, but 98% - also freeware). in total, two fonts: 1. masque 2. drive this is another case where the logo is official, but also »fantasy« - fantasy, because it depends who in the federation was supposed to make a quick logo, there is no consistent design/concept. the rectangle on the right overlaps with the logo border in two cases, the right edge of the logo border is missing in two cases, some have gradients, some don’t etc. the rounded corner is consistent, however, so i believe this was an important element, if you will. the font for »coupe de polynesie« was set in a different font from masque - masque doesn’t have diacritic marks, which is necesserary for »polynésie«. edit: masque DOES have diacritics, which is excellent news. in a previous version of the logo, »coupe de tahiti nui«, the text was also set in masque. the number in the league logos was not set as italic, even though masque is italic, so it looks bad. drive has italic numerals and it looks much better. logos from 2017/2018 coupe de tahiti nui - 23209358 ligue 2 - 23209356 lower division/ligue 3 - 23209357 historical logo for the third tier - »ligue 2 raiatea« is missing (there are/were two groups) tahiti fa vector drive.zipFetching info... masque.zipFetching info... 1
