Hi All

Just a note to say I'm waiting on clarity from SI on the logo sizes for FM22 but I have moved the config file in my Normal size folders to my Normal @2 folder with very good results. This seems to work well on most skins.

I will confirm what will happen with all packs in the coming week but it may mean starting over again to ensure best quality.

I noticed that in the latest packages created, such as the FMG Standard Logos that i am using, many logos are out of date or are missing.
It is for this reason that maybe you see me posting logos that in other packages such as the Steel Logos can already be updated for example.

Surely it is due to the fact that having created new packs and having had to put together such a large number of logos, it can happen that you forget to update some logos. Those are things that happen.

About missing logos, the competitions logo i put in the italian updates pack part 2 because the IDS are changed, the same for all clubs logos that have IDS 200011, 200012, 200013, 200014 etc. because are new team with new IDS. About outdated logos the Highland and Lowland League competitions logos for example, They are the first that came to my mind when I saw them because I am doing a save in Scotland. Another example could be Certaldo logo regarding to Italy, that i put it in the italian part 2 updates pack.

It seems to me that they were in the Steel Logos until I used the pack, the one with 70,000 logos not the new version with 73,000 and i remember a current and updated version of them. But I can also remember badly and be wrong

In the FMG Standard Logos package there is the Scottish FA logo as you can see from the screenshots I posted.

It's not an accusation and I don't want you to perceive it as such, it's just a tip to make things even better. I noticed this and I wanted to point it out to you

I have no problem looking for and reporting logos that need updating or are missing as i have always done so far and as i will continue to do

It might seem a stupid thing and maybe it is because we always talk about a stupid soccer game for pc, but for me who at this moment of my life i can't find a job and I have no idea what to do with my life and I feel a failure that he hasn't been able to do shit in his life, knowing that i can be helpfull to you in making your packs, that you appreciate what i do and at the same time that contributing to these packs, i can give someone a smile who plays FM and sees the team logo of his country lost in who knows what division, makes me feel better.

I believe that besides for a personal pleasure in seeing a pack of logos as complete as possible for those like me who hate seeing a team represented without their logo, we do it for this too, at least me and when you release a pack or an update and you quote me and the other researchers as saying "Hey don't give me all the credits because without these guys' research work, this pack couldn't be so well done", it feels me appreciated

I hope you didn’t take my question the wrong way mate. The reason I ask for examples of the errors is so I can try to see how and why it happened. I’m happy that people care enough about our work to point out when things are not correct or can be improved.

You and the rest of the research team are doing a great job which is very much appreciated, as the packs would not be the same quality without you guys.

FMG Announcement

Football Manager 2022 has seen an increase in size of the 'Normal' size logos from 180x180 pixels to 512x512 pixels, which brings with it considerable challenges to quality when viewing in-game.

I've made the decision that I will remake all megapacks over the coming weeks to increase the 'Normal' logos to 512x512 pixels. This will take up a lot of my time over the coming weeks and will mean members having do download new packs to support FM22.

I will start this process with the new Vapour Logos which are to be released this weekend and then onto Steel Logos in time for the usual monthly update. However, this time around it will mean a completely new and slightly reduced in size Steel Logos Megapack.

The remaining stlyes including FMG, FMG Standard, TPU and Stone logos will all be remade over the coming weeks.

Existing Packs

Users of FM22, I would suggest moving your config files from the 'Normal' folders of each category to the Normal '@2' folder. This will increase the in-game quality.

Steel Logos

However, I do not recommend this for Steel Logos as there are not enough 360x360 pixel logos. Although, you can move the '@2' logos into your 'Normal' folder and replace the 180x180 pixel logos.

Researchers

When researching please try your best to find logos which are at least 512x512 pixels as this will lead to the best quality. If this is not possible then in the largest/best quality you can find and I will try to improve them.
