First or foremost - love this kit style. Look so clean. Templates are amazing. Certainly pushing my Photoshop skills. Kits take quite a bit longer to make than other styles I am used to. Her

I'm glad you've enjoyed making them mate as much as I have. No you go ahead and post mate.

I don't mind uploading them at all but it's great when the creator of the pack can post it in the forum.

I've had to update the installation part of this after FM26 release. I've amended all uploads and posts to the below.

Uploading Packs

Note: The uploading of packs has changed slightly. I've outlined the new steps below.

Navigate to Downloads and you will see blue 'Submit a file' button as you scroll down on the right.

Select 'FMG Kits' under the Football Manager Kits section.

  1. Drag and drop the zipped file in.

  2. Upload the screenshot.

  3. File Name - Please start with FMG Kits 'Insert League Name' 2025-26

  4. About this file - Copy/paste the below and edit where required

  5. Version Number - 2026.00 (If we need to update anything then it's 2026.01, 2026.02 etc etc

  6. Save & Submit File

This pack contains the below number of kits.

Home Kits - 20

Away Kits - 20

Third Kits - 20

Fourth Kits - 1

FM26 Kits Installation Guide

1) Download the pack of your choice.

2) Unzip the files using an archiver.

We recommend Winrar for Windows and Keka for Mac but most applications will work.

https://www.win-rar.com/start.html?&L=0

https://www.keka.io/en/

3) Once unpacked place your pack into the folder below based on your operating system. It most likely won't be there so please create it. (lower case)

Windows:

\Users\<your username>\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 26\graphics\

Mac OS:

Users/YOUR MAC USERNAME/Library/Application Support/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 26/graphics

4) Open Football Manager if you haven't already. If you have close and reopen it.

Your kits will then appear.

How can I get involved in creating packs?

Get in touch with Derek for templates and help.

@Derek i'll start uploading the templates now, i have 2 questions:

1) Do you want me to upload them sorted by brand, or all of them on one single file?

2) Should i resize the PSD's to 700x700?

You can just upload them as they are mate. I'll go through them one by one and then I'll resize everything at the end.

Thanks

Perfect I've got them now mate! Thank you 👊

  • 2 weeks later...

Derek, apologies if I'm being stupid - but there's mention of the megapack with shirt parts etc above; where do I find that? I've downloaded the general template pack but hoping to get the other one. Cheers

Hi mate

I think this is in reference to the 'Shirt Parts (Quick Select)' layer folder which is in all templates. It's located as seen in the image below.

If I've misunderstood you please quote the post and I can look at it.

In terms of the new template pack, I've now finished the Frauen-Bundesliga and will start to update the pack after I complete the logo updates. So it will be in the next few days.

Ahh my apologies mate - completely misunderstood that but that might make things a lot easier. Just realised I was going off the preview templates, not the master one!

I'll preface this by saying I realise this is VERY rough around the edges (literally) and I'm not precious about it but I've had a go at my first attempt. A very simple draft. Any advice would be greatly appreciated - I'm struggling to keep all the edges nice and sharp and reduce images without blur. This one is the Gornik Zabrze home kit as I can't see the Polish league being big on the agenda haha. Cheers.

Looking forward to the Frauen-Bundesliga pack they look amazing as always!

It looks as though you've used/edited one of the preview images mate. You should use the PSD file itself.

Am I correct?

I have indeed - that's going to make life a LOT easier now haha. I'll blame the fact that it's Sunday 😄 Thanks as always mate

That's good progress mate. Just some tips below that might help with the next steps.

I've attached a file I made for Leipzig for you to look at. It's not related to the kit your making but it shows how I've structured the kit template.

Try to keep the the various elements in the correct folders as this will help you down the line i.e. shoulder panels above the outline. The only layers that should be above the outline are some collars.

At the bottom you should never move the FMG Kits Base folder or colour the 'shadow' layer. This will automatically change when you edit the 'Kit Colour' layer. Only edit the kit colour layer or textures in the FMG Kits Base folder.

Always leave the background layer in your PSD so you can check for any unwanted pieces. You will see above the left shoulder some pieces and around the right sleeve cuff. Then you can hide it when your finished.

I wouldn't use any elements of FC'12 kits or any other style with these as although they are great quality, they are much smaller in size and will look distorted. You can see that in the sponsors you used.

I've also attached good quality versions for you to play around with. Just keep playing around with the style mate and it will get easier. Also check out the Generic PSD which I will try add more too next week. It has other parts you can move into whatever kit your making.

I'll have a play around and hopefully come back to you when I've cracked it!

I'm here if you need any help.

As above, I've been playing around with trying my hand at the Ekstraklasa kits. Fully aware that my Photoshop skills are extremely lacking compared to (probably) most on here but it's been fun nonetheless. Does anyone have any tips in terms of finding certain background patterns as I'm aware none of the patterned kits are exact, and crafting parts like the red and green Legia home patterns, which are missing. Even if I can provide someone with a base to start with and polish up (no pun intended) I'd be very happy. These are very much drafts - clearly evident. Cheers.

These look great @gbuffers. Make sure you keep the PSD files for all of them incase I need to help you with some things as some don't have shadows and others have coloured shadows.

You won't need to do anything with the shadows ever. When saving the png files just hide the background in the PSD file, select all, copy merged and paste into a new window. Then change the canvas size to 700x700 pixels.

Thanks Derek, I've been working on a few WSL2 / Championship ones too. I think my skills prevent me from getting there anywhere near close BUT if it would help you in any way to have some kind of base to work with I will happily send them over in due course. Cheers mate

Ekstraklasa.zipWSL2.zip

Okay I think my skills (or lack-of) have taken me as far as I can on this one with the templates at my disposal. I've done 32 Ekstraklasa kits; from memory I think there's about 16 left. I struggled to find / create any of the patterns so most of them are very much placeholders. These are the .PSD files - they might drive you crazy as they're not in the neatest order and I wasn't sure about colours BUT it's my first time so a bit of an experiment. As I say, I don't think I can add anymore SO if on the off-chance anyone wants to take on this project / clear up my mess then I would be more than happy for you to continue. I tried my best, I guess!! No worries at all if not - sure it's not high on a lot of people's lists! Thanks

I've also added a couple of WSL2 / Championship ones I was working on. Even if they could provide any kind of assistance to someone I'd be happy.
