We're out of the FA Trophy after a loss against Teford, wasn't needed, but we're out. Immediatly after we lost again against Welling in the league. After this, the machine started with dominating wins, and a narrow win against league leaders Havant & Waterlooville! Six wins in a row is amazing for a club of this stature!

 

League table:

We find ourselves in a playoff spot at the moment! But all teams are pretty close to each other, though I am encouraged by the new players I brought in. A new defender, midfielder, winger and striker were all added to the squad roster, with three of them on non-contracts. All of these signings have proven their worth a lot and improving the team as a whole immensely. Very hard to scout and find new players though at this level...

11 games to go, hopefully I can make it to the playoffs and perhaps cause a big upset! Thanks for your patience guys!

I wasn't aware Bath had dropped to the Vanarama South so being above them is in itself a big step. The challenge that low down is to find players that can improve and keep the wheel churning without making a loss. Fantastic season so far bud keep the machine chugging on Henry VIII would be proud of you good sir.

2023/24 The beginning

What I love about LLM saves is the end of the first season and seeing which clubs are releasing which players that fit the process.

It's unique in you bring them in churn them out til you have money and a squad ready for that professional status while climbing the league

Anyways enough rambling from a Yorkshireman.

First two youngsters I brought in on loan from this MASSIVE club in Sheffield. They where Blue and white just incase you needed any clues who I was talking about.

Aguas brings versatility down that left side, equally as good on the wing as he is at full back. Can score goals too

Now this one is a coup. In real life he's been scouted by Man City amongst others

One of three Cadamateri's in the youth set up at Wednesday and the one with the potential right now to go to the top.

I'm sure he'll score the goals we need to make it into the play offs.

As you can see I've been busy bringing in youngsters that want to prove something.

This will prove beneficial moving forward bringing the average age down and having hungry players wanting to better themselves.

Half Way Through

It's been a strange first half of the season. We started indifferent using the tactic Male Jiggalo Temp left in place but stayed within the play offs,

Then we hit a dip and couldn't seem to find our scoring touch and losing touch with the play offs. 

So I had to make a change. Same formation different instructions.

Young Cadz and Aguas thrived with this tactic 

due to this Sheffield Wednesday want both players tested in a new environment so we are unable to extend the loans.

Other notable standout is Shipston in the Mezzala position.

Because of the mid point blip we are off the pace at the top but sat in the play offs 

The task now is to find a replacement for the 2nd half for out going Aguas and Cadz. While keeping up with pushing up the table for the play offs.

I've declined job offers from Dartford and Weymouth as they're in the same division and at the wrong end of the table.

End of season

A 5th place finish meant a second year in the play offs after a fine run. 

We lost in the first round of the Play Offs to Dulwich Hamlet in a hard fought game in which I've become accustomed too against them

I feel we couldn't replace the goals Cadz provided in the first half is the reason we didn't get further in the playoffs.

Moulden for me was the under rated star of the season 16 clean sheets and a rock when it came to penalties

I've renewed contracts to the core players in the squad for 2 years leaving the next person the opportunity to bring in players that will fit in and improve.

Finances wise, we need to move up the leagues

First changes for the new season

I have renewed most of the players whose contracts were expiring, 3 players left the team and the 3 players on loan did not want to renew.

 

There were also changes in the staff, 3 coaches left and 2 arrived, the entire scouting team left and a new one arrived.

Not surprised to see the above 3 leave. There was no way they’d be getting into the first team. They couldn’t break in last season and where unhappy.

I finished December at the weekend and this is the picture. The team is doing very well, we had a great FA Cup campaign but we lost in the FA Trophy.

The goal is definitely promotion and we are doing very well.

We did it!!!
The team has had a WONDERFUL second half of the season, we made a record of points and I think goals.
The performance of the strikers was great, both have had the same amount of goals.

He has done his job upon his return from injury, let's say he performed well.
