FMG Build A Squad Challenge Episode 2

This is the second FMG Build A Squad save and in this challenge we focus on Borussia Dortmund. New manager Vincent Kompany (No not really) has just been appointed to the club and have released the entire playing staff roster.

Your challenge is to rebuild the squad based on key criteria.

Key Criteria

• Your entire playing squad has been released
• You must sign a minimum of 24 player in your squad (2 Goalkeepers required)
• Transfer budget of £500m (€584m) - No instalments allowed.
• Wage budget of £5m (€5,84m)
• 12 players must be German with the other 12 players Belgian or Dutch
• You cannot sign players from the previously released squad
• Summer Transfer Window Deadline (August 31st 2021, game time)

 

This challenge will close on Sunday April 24th and all entries must be submitted by 9PM GMT.

Voting will commence on Monday April 25th until Friday April 29th with leaderboard points allocated as outlined in the graphic above.

Noooooooooo, so no Haaland, no Bellingham, no Reyna, no Moukoko. Damn man... Breaking my heart here 

Anyway, I quite like this challenge, I'm in!

I think it's an interesting one. I think I'll try go with a 12, 6 and 6 split between the nationalities. I'll see how that goes

I heard Luuk de Jong always is a great option in the striker position

 I feel like Luuk is around forever yet he's only 31.

Just to confirm by the way: Maximum of 12 German players, or may there be more than 12 with the rest being Dutch or Belgian?

12 German and then 12 made up of Dutch or Belgian.

No more than 12 German though.

Goddamnit  Then I have to start over.

Already had a good squad with 15 Germans. Then I read 12 Germans plus 12 Belgian or Dutch players. Just wanted to be sure...

Just don't tell ze Germans okay?
