Women's football in FM25

I was wondering how SI are going to implement this. Women and men's football is so different. Not to criticise, but amateur male teams beat women's national teams all the time. How would they handle the ca and pa for example, compared to men?

I think that's an interesting point mate in terms of ca and pa. If I was to hazard a guess I would imagine the same system would be used but may be treated differently in terms of attributes, transfer values etc.

I'm looking forward to seeing how they integrate woman's football. I think SI have missed a trick though not having this done for FM24, particularly on the back of the Woman's World Cup this year.

I think timing it with this years release could have encouraged more female players of FM.

They will be treated on rating basis women vs women, not versus men.

So same values will be valid.

i think it’s a great addition, and long overdue.

data wise, it will be a nightmare, because it means more logos, portraits etc to work on.

i wonder if it will be possible in-game to have mixed teams -- if i recall correctly, in italy it is possible to sign female players for the male professional leagues. more than 20 years ago (time flies!), perugia president gaucci wanted to sign birgit prinz, who was in women’s football what the brazilian ronaldo is in men’s football:

@Markitos Have you seen any ID's yet for FM25 for women's football?

Basically it is a world apart, they can have the same CA as a male, but in a female world. It will attract our attention, no doubt, but it is a world apart.

 

@Derek Yes, basically there are thousands of new teams with their respective IDs as well as competitions, we have a long job collecting logos hahaha.

will they cover clubs and players from all continents or just europe and the biggest five leagues?

All continents, buts only a few leagues will be playables

no problem about that. i already have loads of trophies and player faces on my hd, looking forward to seeing what they will include.
