I have been working on some small additions/changes that a user requested, nothing major but it gives all users some more options.

a) I created a small modification so more options for the player profile views are available. Credit for the "Profile YACS" option goes to "YACS" who implemented this in his 2019 YACS skin. Credit for the "Profile FME" for FME Zealand, used in FME 2023 skin. The other player profile view was the one I used in older versions of the Champions League skins.

b) There is an option now to have a "cleaned up" titlebar where additional icons (club logo and nationality logo) have been removed

 

All of course depending on personal preferences which options are chosen, but for users who would like to change this around I decided to make this available.

Again credit to "YACS" and "FME Zealand" for the 2 player profile designs (2nd and 3rd in the screenshot), these designs are NOT my work, I only implemented their code to show properly in my skin.

I decided to release a (minor) last update to the 2024 skin. All improvements and some bug fixes I posted here are included. Updated the intro screen as well (always have the manager of the current Champions League winner on the cover and the previous year winning manager in the small window). Will send out download link and encryption password to all users this weekend!

 

Given the upcoming major changes in FM25 I have not decided yet if I want to purchase this new game and will likely continue to play FM24 with data updates instead. As per SI Games latest news with Miles Jacobsen some functionality will be removed in return Women's football will be implemented. The release date has also been pushed back which raises some concerns of the state the game will be in when it will be (finally) released.

I prefer not to buy and play a potentially buggy and unfinished product and as FM24 works fine for me for the time being I will play this game.

Could be that when the game is released and it turns out no major issues (besides the removed International Management option and other changes made) are clear I will have a look at FM25 later on to see if I want to start skinning this new game. Please realize that even from SI Games' own comments, FM25 will be a completely new game, with a new interface, new game engine etc. So likely every skin will need to be rebuild "from the ground up" and that means A LOT of work for all skinners out there.

For now this update will likely be the last one for FM2024, have fun with the game and the skin!!!

Updated the main menu, to show Luis Enrique as the "main coach" (being the CL winning coach) and moving Ancelotti to the "former winning coach" position:

 

 

 

I created a small update to version 1.2. This is not a critical update but could be beneficial for some!

Bug fix for "coach response to coach advert" (choice between stats showing and faces showing), see below screenshot with options. Minor improvements to several screens, including better fonts in certain screens (mostly news screens) for foreign languages (for example "Turkish names" etc.)  It also includes the new main menu at start up, with Luis Enrique added as shown in the previous post.

 

To fix the bug, there are two options: one is to revert back to the default screen (with animation added) see below screenshot:

 

 

This is the alternative, which is the one I prefer and the "default version", it will show faces and more info on the staff involved but no stats, however this is available in the pop-up, see these screenshots:

 

 

 

The files in the update that change this screen are "advert respond news content panel", the one with no faces is added as well and has "NO FACES" extension. Rename this file if you prefer to use the default screen instead.

Looks like we might not have an option to add custom skins anymore in FM26 unless it gets “fixed” later on if the attached screen is correct……

Hopefully they will fix it. Don't know if many skinners will do it as it's moved over to unity?!

I just got my game refunded from Fanatical. Facepacks and logo's are not working, bugs all over the place and for me, most importantly, the UI is horrible and skinning is (for an undetermined time) not possible. Even if skinning would at some point be possible it will be an immense job to recreate a skin of high quality.

I just started a new game in FM24 with an updated 2025-2026 database with all recent transfers and wonderkids updated, starting date edited to July 2025 (so the Champions League etc. formats are all up-to-date as well). I prefer that for now over having a 5% better experience with the match day and 95% worse experience on the UI)

I will keep an eye out for any developments but for the time being I got my refund back and hopefully I will get into FM at a later stage.

Absolutely a shame. But do think they kind of rushed everything ie with the bugs that people are picking up. Facepacks and logos is working on mine.
