Anyone here a Marvel fan? 👀

I'm kind of hooked on these to be honest and the next phase looks pretty good.

Mostly looking forward to Blade as I was a fan of the Wesley Snipes version.

Massive fanboy here! Though I didn't like Dr. Strange 2 that much (it was hyped up too much I guess). But Endgame was epic for me... Seeing Cap pick up Mjolnir and beat the crap out of Thanos was one of my favorite scenes.

I watched Avengers Infinity War and Endgame yesterday 🤣

Like you I didn't think much of Dr Strange 2 but I'm just not crazy about the whole multiverse thing. Looking forward to Blade as I mentioned but also Guardians 3, Black Panther and Daredevil. I would like to see The Punisher appear too and even a standalone Hulk movie.

What is Marvel? 😬

Sadly, I am not keen on any Marvel brands, just not my type of films to watch...

But... What about the Marvel series? I liked all of them actually. What if... kind of surprised me with the story for example

So far I really liked Wanda Vision and Hawkeye.

I found the Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki and Moon Knight ok.

I'm not a big fan of what they've turned the hulk into. 

I watched Lover, Stalker, Killer the other night and wow! Didn't expect a lot of it without ruining anything for others 🤣

@Tempelman think you would like this one mate. It's on Netflix.

Oh and I'm not so much a Marvel fan these days as I think I've super hero burnout. 🤣

Looking forward to Predator Badlands on Nov 7th. I've really liked what the director did with Prey and feel a similar style this time round could kick the franchise on.

surprisingly good overall. of course it’s formulaic and popcorn predictable, but the portrayal of the yautja protagonist is actually pretty entertaining. the only gripe i had were statements from the director and the lead actress saying that they wanted to have a strong female character and that’s why she leaned into it … she is an android, thus a machine, thus she has no biological gender and certainly won’t think and act like a human. particularly not on a planet where there are no humans present to interact with in the first place. it seems as if both of them completely misunderstood the premise.

this is not to say that a progressive or so-called »woke« approach is bad, but it has to fit. and with a machine, it doesn’t. other than that, definitely worth a watch or two.

I've watched it a couple of times and it was a good movie I have to say. I thought it was interesting to actually see a yautja communicate for once as that's a completely different direction for this movie franchise.

Not to spoil anything but it's clearly set up for a sequel which will be interesting. I assume this will possibly become it's own story in a way within the franchise.
