  1. Those gate reciepts though
  2. Mid Season Update This was the kiss of death haha! What started off with a sloppy defeat to Chelsea followed 3 great performances to put us top of the group. We then fell off in the Final 2 games with a 2-1 loss in Salzburg to 10 men of RB (pay back for buying Simic) then another defeat to Chelsea. Europa League to play with a game against Danish side FC Midtjylland It's a banana skin tie but one I'm confident of not slipping on. In the league, well its business as usual, 16 games in won 13 drawn 2 lost 1. A nice gap forming. Sorry @TempelmanVitesse aren't chasing they're just Vitesse. The team are chipping in with the goals Brobbey the top scorer with 6 showing that we have goals in the team. Scheljderup has fast become my first choice left winger with some dazzling displays. Which means I can get rid of Berghuis or Tadic. Though I'm fast losing patience with Tadic and his disciplinary record. I waited before slowly bedding in Simic in the team, who has scored 5 in 3 games and 3 in 1 cup game so far. Kenneth Taylor looks like the new CM wonder kid from the academy. Making the CDM position his own . The vultures are already circling. Another youngster making a splash in the first team is 17yr old Garbiel Misehouy.
  3. Do you have the choice to call Balogun back from loan? He'd be a great back up choice, isn't he doing well out in france at the minute?
  4. Welcome to Wrexham on Disney+ - A docuseries about Rob Mcalheney (dunno how its spelt) and Ryan Reynolds journey from purchasing Wrexham and the rebuild under them. I'd recommend watching this. It's got me wanting to do a Wrexham save
  5. He just couldn't hack the Yorkshire weather bless him. Great save so far and that take over bounty, Lens will show PSG how it should be done
  6. I'm glad he's delivering on the talent he has. I remember watching him against us for Leeds and didn't think much of him but we did mark him out of the game. As much as I hated Arsenal in the early 90's for obvious reasons namely beating us in two cup finals in the same season and Steve Bold breaking Hirsts leg. I've grown to respect what they're building now.
  7. Not surprised to see the above 3 leave. There was no way they’d be getting into the first team. They couldn’t break in last season and where unhappy. Good luck for the season #UpTheTudors
  8. Over to the next person, the Tudors are a good bunch of fans 811065309_FMGPTS23-Unemployed.fm
  9. End of season A 5th place finish meant a second year in the play offs after a fine run. We lost in the first round of the Play Offs to Dulwich Hamlet in a hard fought game in which I've become accustomed too against them I feel we couldn't replace the goals Cadz provided in the first half is the reason we didn't get further in the playoffs. Moulden for me was the under rated star of the season 16 clean sheets and a rock when it came to penalties I've renewed contracts to the core players in the squad for 2 years leaving the next person the opportunity to bring in players that will fit in and improve. Finances wise, we need to move up the leagues
  10. Welcome to FMG @ribeira2 I am your friendly neighbourhood Yorkshireman, if you need Yorkshire tea in your life I can point you in the right direction. Failing that we can also help when ever you need it and provide you with great content. Can't wait to see you get involved
  11. Cult hero just for doing this
  12. Half Way Through It's been a strange first half of the season. We started indifferent using the tactic Male Jiggalo Temp left in place but stayed within the play offs, Then we hit a dip and couldn't seem to find our scoring touch and losing touch with the play offs. So I had to make a change. Same formation different instructions. Young Cadz and Aguas thrived with this tactic due to this Sheffield Wednesday want both players tested in a new environment so we are unable to extend the loans. Other notable standout is Shipston in the Mezzala position. Because of the mid point blip we are off the pace at the top but sat in the play offs The task now is to find a replacement for the 2nd half for out going Aguas and Cadz. While keeping up with pushing up the table for the play offs. I've declined job offers from Dartford and Weymouth as they're in the same division and at the wrong end of the table.
  13. Didn't Jan play a season or two in the prem, think it was for Hull? Joined them from Celtic if I remember correctly. Ettiene Esajas, Regi Blinker and Wim Jonk are my fave dutch players
  14. I look forward to seeing you avenge that 12-1 pal or at least better the score and lose 12-2
  15. Mate I felt the same when I saw Shaun Wright Phillips son make his stoke debut, means I've seen 3 generations play professional football
  16. 2023/24 The beginning What I love about LLM saves is the end of the first season and seeing which clubs are releasing which players that fit the process. It's unique in you bring them in churn them out til you have money and a squad ready for that professional status while climbing the league Anyways enough rambling from a Yorkshireman. First two youngsters I brought in on loan from this MASSIVE club in Sheffield. They where Blue and white just incase you needed any clues who I was talking about. Aguas brings versatility down that left side, equally as good on the wing as he is at full back. Can score goals too Now this one is a coup. In real life he's been scouted by Man City amongst others One of three Cadamateri's in the youth set up at Wednesday and the one with the potential right now to go to the top. I'm sure he'll score the goals we need to make it into the play offs. As you can see I've been busy bringing in youngsters that want to prove something. This will prove beneficial moving forward bringing the average age down and having hungry players wanting to better themselves. Released from Chelsea Lovely little capture and can drive us forward Finances
  17. It's cold enough up north I think the Gritters will be on the streets of Liverpool don't worry Some interesting moves happening. Mudryk and Joao to Chelsea. Is Boehly spending for the future or trying to stick duck tape on the cracks that need sealing? Liverpool need to youthen their Midfield with quality players but Klopp needs backing. Also heard Man Utd takeover could happen in weeks
  18. I'll take the next season see what we can do
  19. Ok you twisted my arm
  20. I wasn't aware Bath had dropped to the Vanarama South so being above them is in itself a big step. The challenge that low down is to find players that can improve and keep the wheel churning without making a loss. Fantastic season so far bud keep the machine chugging on Henry VIII would be proud of you good sir. Now to fetch him a wife that will give him a son... wait, too late
  21. It's just the title of the blog my lover. Don't be hating
  22. Champions League Group Draw Starting our journey in Europe in Group B which looks like a tough but achievable group Chelsea being the obvious but Salzburg have the ability to make things tricky. The draw in all its glory.
  23. Transfer Update Last signing of the summer and another for the future. Roko Simic 6Mill from RB Salzburg. He's gone straight into the B team to develop but I'll be keeping a close eye on him
  24. Started with zero staff and just a Doctor due to licensing issues
