Mid Season Report Davide Marzano has had an up and down first half of the season while trying to emulate last seasons astonishing 3rd place finish. Currently sitting 7th in Serie A, still pushing for a spot in one of Europe's competitions. Guaranteed a Play off spot in the next phase of the champions league with 2 games to go. In the final of the EA Sports Super Cup, so trophies are still available. The standout game so far was the 2-1 win vs Juventus away from home, which allowed Marzano and Sampdoria to go on a little run. The only incoming so far in January being Brenno the Brazilian/Italian goal keeper for 4mill. After turning down an interview at the beginning of the season with Marseille, Lyon tried their best efforts midway through the season. Marzano instead opted to sign a 5 year contract with Sampdoria. It was a mixed bag for Davide Marzano in pre season, but an undefeated pre season. With the team gelling well with the new players to the squad and a new formation to boot. Davide needs to embed the squad into the tactic in order to be competitive in both League and Europe. First up in the League is a home game vs Fiorentina which is destined to be a hard fought game.

This stadium is like a second home for me after doing Genoa last year. Loved every minute in that save. Promotion is very do able, your main struggle will be finances with it hard to generate in Italy. Look forward to see your progress in the first season Davide!

The Crewe youth development has not produced a lot in recent years but when it was spitting out youth it was a save that was fun to do. Wonder what rating their youth setup is these days

So this plan went out the window. Beta save ended up being with Kashima Antlers in the JLeague - lost 2 games all season wont the league and league cup double really enjoyed the short time in the league very interesting save if anyone fancies it. Can only have 4 foreign players in the squad, but the talent pool for that league is pretty big. My first official save is with the Seadogs aka Scarborough Athletic. First season we smashed the national league north, currently sitting second in the National league a point behind Crewe half way through the season. The money is climbing just as quick as I'm climbing the league table.

Think we should do a generator with all the National League North and south and let it pick the team we start at

I usually start my first game with Sheff Wed to get a feel for the game, this year I'm thinking I'm going to start with Sheff Wed and go in depth. With the current situation around the club and with us now appointing Danny Rohl in his first managerial role I'm thinking noone can be as bad and inept as Xisco. The challenge of this save is lasting longer at the club than our chairman 🤣

I've just finished watching Night Agent on Netflix and started season 2 of Shadow and Bone. Both very highly recommend. Still waiting on season 2 of Tulsa King and season 2 of Reacher.

Who's heard of this mad concept? The club in question Fortuna Dussledorf. Zealand goes into great depth about it here. Would this work at other clubs? Why does it not surprise me that it's in Germany? What are your thoughts on this?
