Summer transfers update Busy summer for us and offloaded some players that didn't really play well and bought in youngsters to develop. Bought in to add depth at the back. Very promising. This guy was already prearranged when I started this save. Was using RDF data method scouting and found this guy as he was having good statistics. Will probably sell on. Same as above, looks very decent and hopefully will develop into a beast. Felt we was lacking depth in right wing so he comes in but gone back out on loan. Another depth signing I have made, felt Kalimuendo, is only recognised striker. so was using RDF method again he was top of the list. Signed him for 6.5M. Delighted and starter at left back. Costed me 4.6M and can play both side and decent signing. Not sure why both signing wasn't on the current transfer screen but was on previous one.

Lifted our first ever Trophée des champions in club history! Was missing few players due to Olympics. Wil do transfer updates soon-ish!

Thanks, just didn't expect us to go so close to PSG in the first season. Will be interesting for second season, players are expecting youngsters to play in the first team. Hoping Vallee, can play few games.

Season 1 2023/24 Ligue 1 Fixtures (Jan to end of the season) Our loss against Saint Étienne was probably the turning point of denying us the title. Even tho we dominated the game but 2 errors led them to goals. Coupe de France Could say Lyon was probably our toughest team in our run to the final. Players stats What a season from our players, I have to give special mention to Blas, who seems to have gone under the radar and was superb for us. Kalimuendo, is wanted by Chelsea and Bayern, not sure if I can keep him at the club or promote our youngsters if he does go. Other news We now owns our stadium, lovely saving of 1M per year 😄

One last game of the season and is Coupe de France Final against PSG. And wow what a final!! Suck on that PSG 😄 We got 60M to spend next season, maybe look at bringing in back up keeper.

Looking to play them in cup games if possible. Got them into mentoring group as well training with first team. U's19 coaching team are good Maybe few improvements needed 😄

Youth intakes Wow 2 Defensive midfielders 😄 No more signings for midfielders at this rate 😂 Boli looks very promising, hopefully he can break into first team next year or so. Other players in intakes are okay-ish

Season 1 half way point Ligue 1 Delighted how we have started the season with the club, apart from loss to Lyon when we just fell apart in 2nd half. Lille, game we was 3-1 up and conceded twice in last 20 minutes. Cup game we rotated fully, drawn against Nancy, in next round. Transfers Spent few millions on improving the teams and adding depth. Happy with the signings I have bought in. Probably a rash signing, but looks decent. Was found via my scout in South America, looks decent, hopefully improve his game all round. Gone to Germany on loan. To boost depth at the back. will probably sell on. Was top of my list when I took over as he looks brilliant but at the time couldn't afford him. Have to be the top signing so far, thanks to minimum release clause in Spain 😄 Looks very decent! As our goalkeepers at the club are over 30s, spent 12.5M on him and very happy and will be number 1 for years to come. Depth for the right back as our starter is 31 now. Gone back to club on loan. Another right back signing, I think he is more likely to start at right back than one above. Also gone back to Schalke on loan. Signed him for 1.2M but is currently on loan, so hell join the club in the summer. OUT Managed to sell 39 years old keeper, was on 50K a week! Spent all summer and season to sell him, so hired intermediary to sell him. Sold Seko Fofana to Al Hazem for 30M I have sacked the previous HOYD and bought in this guy, huge improvement.

Recruitment focuses Here is how I am setting up my recruitment focuses 3 Scouts scouting Europe - to find hidden gems and will only sign them if I feel they can improve the team or make big profits. 1 scout in Africa - Again, France are well known to sign African players in real life, hopefully I can sign good ones from them and develop them. 1 is scouting France competitions and nation with France nationally only. Scout is scouting for players who got a year left on their contract, been using this on my previous saves and found some cracking ones and sold for crazy profit! My technical director (Nicky Butt) signed David Trezeguet as scout, so he's scouting for 4PA stars around the world.

The manager of Stade Rennes 😄 Decided to play as ex player and I remembered him playing for Arsenal few years ago and I believe he not long just retired from playing!

This time it's in France and have picked Stade Rennais FC, I believe they are fame for their academy, hopefully I can keep the trend going, and promote youngsters and sell on for huge money! Crazy to see all those decent players came through! Season so far Very unlucky to lose to Monaco, they scored the winner in 90th minutes. PSG only goal was coming from defender mistake. Their keeper got MOTM. Transfers Not alot to say, only signed Hirving Lozano, on free. We also just been taken over by Swiss tycoon, will be interesting for the club, got 82M to spend, will focus on the youngsters and hopefully improve the coaching team across the club. Will try and update as much as I can due to work!
