I apologize for the delay in my response.

I displayed all the clubs listed as active in Japan within the editor, and checked each logo one by one in order from the smallest to the largest ID.
(However, my true purpose is to create an inc file that localizes the names of active Japanese clubs appearing in the game.)
Based on this, there are no fictional club logos in the folder.
When searching in the editor, if the limit is not set to unlimited, clubs that are included in the game may not appear in the editor either. (I once fell into this trap myself.)

Although I mentioned referencing https://fmref.com, it was only to verify how they are registered in the game, especially when club names have been changed and the original name needs to be found to locate the logo.

Since I am not using mods that add Japanese leagues, I believe there are no fictional clubs mixed in. However, if you provide specific IDs, I can also verify on my end.

Additionally, for city hall soccer teams that do not have their own logos, this logo pack often assigns the city's logo, emblem, or crest, following previous examples, so I submitted logos accordingly. I hope you understand.

Regarding the issue of women's club logos being mixed in, that was my mistake. I apologize.

please read the rules again, the issues are addressed there.

the editor screenshot is helpful, because it shows that even in the japanese version of football manager, they have not used the original japanese names for the clubs, which is terrible.

I do not understand English, so I am using machine translation to comprehend the sentences. Please understand that there may be parts where the meaning is difficult to grasp.
I have read the rules. Broadly speaking, I understand that the main points are: do not mix female clubs, do not include fictional clubs, and do not make mistakes with IDs.

The inclusion of female clubs was my mistake. I apologize.

However, I believe that there are no fictional clubs within the submitted files.
Regarding the incorrect IDs, since this was done alongside the Japanese localization of team names, I do not think it has resulted in many clubs being mistaken for fictional clubs.

I only investigated clubs displayed on the editor screen and identified their logos, so there are no fictional clubs mixed in.
If you think there are fictional clubs, please specify the ID of that club.

FM 24 Japanese Prefectural - Saga-ken League Guide - Japa...

The Japanese Prefectural - Saga-ken League is a league in Football Manager 2024. Saga League can be found in Japan in FM 24.

I went ahead and checked in the editor. FM26 has 219 Japanese men's clubs.

image.png

This is in FM24. The search caps at 500 records.

image.png

FM26 removed hundreds of Japanese clubs from the game.

However it's possible the Japanese version has exclusive clubs too.

The ones in rapa's screenshots don't appear in the editor for me:

20004+ IDs line up with new FM26 clubs.

Sortitoutsi has an editor database that I checked, and it acts strange in the fact that looking up one of the clubs not in FM26, it shows up in the search suggestions and not the results,

But one in the database works fine.

This doesn't happen with custom clubs.

genie scout can batch export ids for staff, players and clubs, amongst other things -- only limited to the number of entries in the db:
https://www.fmscout.com/a-fm-genie-scout-24.html

here is the complete list of japanese clubs in fm 24 as a html, ods and csv chart - 2500 teams - ignore the leagues, most are incorrect due to how genie scout exports.

the entries appearing in search but not results is a consequence of the db entries which are no longer in the most recent db version being suppressed/hidden, not deleted or removed. all the entries flagged from the first iteration of football manager are technically in the db from what i gathered, but the ones flagged as obsolete are marked as »hidden« and therefore are not displayed in the editor.

There are 2,175 clubs in Japan.

Please set the activity base to Japan instead of making the country Japan.

I will upload a screenshot with the editor's language set to English, so please check the filter settings.スクリーンショット 2026-02-08 114820.jpg

i am not playing the game. the list that i have posted is extracted directly from the database of fm 24.

what i would personally be interested in, is a list with the club names in japanese - that would speed up logo research tremendously.

Please first expand the search limit to 10,000. There are over 500 data entries. The numbers include girls' clubs, but there are 2,175 clubs in Japan that are considered active. If we look at only boys' clubs, there are 2,109. We received confirmation that for clubs where activity could not be verified, feedback has been provided to the official, and corrections are scheduled to be made in FM27.

I forgot to mention, please delete all fake files related to Japan.

It’s so obvious to Japanese players that I forgot to mention it.

FM26_Japanese_Club_Name_2600.lnc

excellent, thanks for the file.

as to search filters and search options -> when i said i don’t play the game, it means i haven’t installed it. i have no time to play it, i only search for graphics and share them. i cannot look up entries at the moment - sometime in the future, i will reinstall fm 24.

that also means that the version that i bought and own is fm 24, not fm 26. i had only installed fm 24 previously to extract all the ids and make research easier for logos, portraits, trophy graphics and background images, but that was more than a year ago and before a hard disk crash.

the clubs in the list that i shared are not separated by men’s and women’s teams, because women were only officially added in fm 26, not in fm 24, which means that they all should be men’s team in that version of the db. それでは。

i’m not sure if i understand correctly. fantasy logos are fine, as long as they are clearly marked as fantasy.

@Derek has a separate directory/folder for fantasy logos in the packs. alternative and retro/historical logos also have separate directories/folders, so users can choose which logo they want to display in the game.

there is also the issue of sports interactive inventing fantasy competitions and leagues very often - that means that there will only be fantasy logos in such cases. we aim to close all gaps eventually when it comes to displaying logos, rather than only having the graphics for the current db version in the packs.

Actually, the situation with that team is a bit complicated.
First of all, when checking the FM Ref, ID 2000297816 is displayed as Libertad Football Club.
In my translation files, that ID is also listed as Libertad FC.
However, ID 792540 is associated with Libertad FC.
So, I reported this to researcher Rob last year.
Apparently, Rob or another researcher changed ID 2000297816 to Vortis Oyabe in the official database this January.
(when there are duplicate clubs, the older ID remains and the new ID is assigned to a different club).

Vortis Oyabe is actually the team that changed its name to OYABE FC starting from the 2025 season.
Since ID 2000297810 originally existed as OYABE FC (https://voltice-oyabe.com/message/), I have confirmed in the translation files that ID 2000297810 is Vortis OYABE, and ID 792540 is Libertad FC.

The club associated with ID 2000297816 will probably be renamed to a different club again.

Therefore, Libertad FC and Vortis Oyabe are separate clubs.

I'll also attach the results of the Toyama Prefecture League for 2025.
Libertad FC finished second in Division 1, and Vortis Oyabe(ヴォルティスOYABE) finished third in Division 2.

I'll report this to the researcher.

For the moment can you separate the men’s/women’s logos into two folders using the prepared logos please mate. I will then try to get them verified.
