I admit I was fan of him but just think he's starting to become overrated cos Man City got cash to burn and look at players he got around him, KDB, Foden, Silva etc. Would he have scored this many goals already if he was at club like Man Utd or Chelsea? Doubt it.

well, that pretty much is true for all players, to be fair.

look at the argentinian and the portuguese, for instance - the former needed gifted penalties to score and lift the world cup trophy, no impact in paris either, living off the past glory in barcelona; the latter was shrunk down to real size once the rest of the team's purpose was no longer assisting him to reach personal records, causing him to disappear to western asia and milk the sheikhs for as much money as possible.

haaland was a prolific goal scorer for dortmund too, and they arguably had a weaker squad.

Messi will do the same, according to rumours. Good comment btw

it shows the perversion of professional football. hundreds of millions for kicking a ball. yes, the sport is popular but what is it actually other than entertainment?

anyway, am digressing, i'll leave it at that.

Not really digressing.. it is fucking awful both choose for greed. More, more, more, more money. More, more, more.

did you read about the background with messi? they apparently plan to persuade his former team mates to move to saudi arabia as well, so he would have a familiar environment and feel more at ease.

this is like catering to a child with special needs, he's a fucking football player for god's sake, not a physician or someone else making fundamental improvements to society ... that's what i mean with perversion. at the same time, ngos for example struggle with fundraising for different causes.

United's Summary v. Bayern (L 3-4)

Casemiro and Hojlund were helping us get demolished

Utd loses #4 in a row.

Eriksen was abysmal

Bad day for Onana

I didn't see much of the game but was surprised to see a 4-3 scoreline. It seemed a game full or errors from the highlights.
