Mid Season Review 2023/24 What a run to start the season, still only lost one game in the league and still going strong. This season is a challenge with Feyenoord matching our results more and more. Table Look at how improved Vitesse are @Tempelmanstill not on my level though Champions League Seeing Bayern drop into the Europa League is a beautiful sight. Next up AC Milan in the round of 16 Due to injuries I had to dip into the transfer window Ctill not been offered a new contract though. So it will be fun to see how that goes

The Train keeps rolling. Long may this run continue. I had the option to bring in Harvey Elliot in the summer for a whopping 64million but I thought I have Bergwijn and the youngsters to develop won't need him. Then Woo-Yeong popped up for 24mill After the Bayern game I'm left counting on youth now until Bergwijn is back, so Woo-Yeong will be a welcome addition in Jan.

That is a gorgeous shirt. I went for the Football Manager pick so they'll send me a shirt belonging to a team in the game. Plus a chance to get a PS5 with it

2023/24 I came into the season knowing my squad was built barring any exits at the start of this season. Well After losing Bassey and Alvarez I needed to bring in adequate replacements. Out Making 74.5mill from the sale of Bassey and Alvarez plus the 55mill from Taylor I went into the market with enough money to manouver. In Before the season ticked into the new season it was also abundently clear Etienne Green wasn't going to be the keeper to be able to make an impact in Europe. In comes Cakir for 6.5mill How the start of the season is going 3 clean sheets another Schaal in the pocket and 10 goals in the league. Due to an injury to Brobbey in Pre Season I had to recall Vitor Roque from loan Scored the winner in the Schaal and in each of my league games so far. Champions League. Can you tell this game doesn't like me making fun of Vitesse @Tempelman? The Transfer Debt seems to be going up despite making money If anyone has any ideas as to why please let me know

I've always called it the San Siro as that has been the name of the stadium since I've followed Italian football. Giuseppe Meazza is the name given to the stadium by the fans and not the official name BUT if you want to get technical it was originally named Nouvo Stadio Calcistico San Siro. The name of the stadium was given Giuseppe Meazza in 1980 but is now more commonly known by both sets of fans as San Siro On 2 March 1980 the stadium was named for Giuseppe Meazza (1910–1979), one of the most famous Milanese footballers. For a time, Inter fans called the stadium Stadio Meazza due to Meazza's stronger connections with Inter (14 years as a player, three stints as manager). However, in recent years both Inter and Milan fans have called the stadium simply San Siro. - Source Wikipedia

My dad lives in Lanzarote but never been. Yeah JayC is back from America bless him, he was at Donnington last year he's taken motorsport on as his main sport he loves it. Streams on Twitch too. Galway is also home to EA and Bioware, remember trying to get a job there on customer services.

This is a Beautiful story. I've only ever left England to go to Galway in Ireland. Unfortunately I don't get to goto Galway for holidays but to spend time with my daughter who was moved over there by her mother. I'm wanting to get across again this year to see her again but also be able to just explore the county and maybe go up to see an old friend of the scene JayC4Life. We've met before when me and my daughters mum was together and we visited Galway before my daughter was born. If anyone remembers JayC you'll all remember what an amazing member of the FM community he was. We catch up on discord from time to time. Another place I want to visit just to get the sexual promises made to me by our very dear @Tempelman..... But no I'd love to get across to Vitesse at somepoint and visit you bro, got so much time for you. My ultimate destination is Germany and Dortmund, I'd love to experience the christmas markets and a matchday. @DerekDon't worry pal I'm bringing Yorkshire tea to you!

On 3 March 1980, the stadium was named in honour of Giuseppe Meazza, the two-time World Cup winner (1934, 1938) who played for Inter and briefly for Milan in the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s[3] and served two stints as Inter's manager. I will leave both sets of fans to fight it out amongst themselves. We will film it and the winning set of fans get the naming rights. I'm contacting Netflix now to set up a deal to film this

The Stadium Giuseppe Meazza Commonly known as the San Siro..... Don't make me use that wet fish

Youth Development One of the beauties about Ajax apart from being a much more advanced civilization than the Vitesse lot, is there fantastic youth academy. The youngsters stepping up towards the end of this season and will play a bigger part in next season are as follows.

Alez Alez Alez I mean did you expect anything different? It should have been a closer affair with PSV but the draws ultimately cost them. @Tempelman10th isn't too bad pal. They get an award for trying. We got to the Quarter Finals of the Europa where we took a 3-2 agg lead back to the San Siro and ultimately got slapped around. I think at this point being slapped by a wet fish would have hurt less. Betis went all the way lifting the trophy. In preparation for the incoming vultures I've already done my transfer dealings barring any last minute changes. I couldn't pass up on Vitor Roque but he goes back for the remainder of the season to develop. Still in the Black with finances My aim this year is to get rid of this Transfer Debt

After an extensive search (trust me I tried) I can't find any team with a cup of tea as a logo or Yorkshire tea . There is a team in Jacksonville Florida called Jacksonville Tea Men. Their logo is a ship which I can only imagine is a nod to the tea trade before they tipped tea into Boston Marina (This still makes me shed a tear)

Transfer Window So lets see how the January Transfer window played out. The ins One of the clubs visions was to bring in players 18 and under, which was my main task in January. My DoF sought after Zandbergen Mr Valentines Day himself Thiago Fernandez will be a regular started and for 3mil is a steal Matheus Nascimento, I looked at him and took a moment to decide if I wanted him or not. Ultimately for his age he can improve alot but I'm looking forward to that growth. Alvaro Bastida checked all the right boxes. I needed CM's and DMC's and Cadiz get to keep him til the end of the season to aid his development. Leandro Figueredo, this lad was offered to me by his agent. Scouting report came back as an A- I didn't need much more convincing. The outies All in all I'm pretty happy with the transfer window. Much of it was thanks to getting Berghuis out of the door. Current Net Spent: + 85mill
