yes, they look very blurry. i saw fm slovakia recommend twice the size -- 800 x 480 -- but that seems still a bit small. i’ll sort a few sample sizes and then you can see what works, will let you know.

@Derek, yes i had noticed the glitch, but as this was intended to be a prototype, i didn’t bother correcting it. i did pick different shapes and contours on purpose to see if it would work on all club crests. there are also linen and other fabrics that i’ll dive into and then see what could work best, maybe even something in the vein of those printed-on badges that become washed out and then you see the texture underneath. yours is very good, subdued. it has a touch of embroidery. i was thinking of that as well, but don’t want to spread myself too thin at the moment. i started collecting stadium pictures to put together a stadium pack one day, and that’ll take up time, too.

i’ve been dabbling with an idea for a fabric/denim texture and would like to hear some feedback. this is just a first »sketch« if you will, and would have to be refined further, but i find the look intriguing.

the letter s is distorted and edges are jagged. i’ll keep that one on my list for future overhauls / redrawings.

there was a british fm, don't know if it was championship manager or another publisher/game, but what i remember was the fact that you could only buy british players for your squad, you could choose between scottish, irish (northern), english and welsh (super exotic!). i played that on my amiga, was in my teens then. of course, i reloaded whenever i lost and must have caused a glitch, because then i started winning all the games without even conceding a goal, at least by a four goal margin ... 😆😆👍🏿 good times. in the end i think either the game froze at one point or i forgot to save and the magic was gone! fast forward to fm 06 and i said this looks interesting. wanted to manage eintracht and hajduk and sign back jay jay okocha at all costs, started cursing the developers for their ignorance when he turned the offer down and then began tweaking the roster/database to get him. 😁 then logo collecting of croatian lower league clubs began taking up all my time, and i only got back when fm 17 was released, which looked a lot better, but was too heavy for my laptop and always crashed whwn i opted for the huge database, heh.
