  1. northern premier league: club logos here for the respective divisions: northern premier league clubs don’t know if the following are in-game, random finds: leicestershire senior football league: ashby ivanhoe fc: hinckley leicester road fc: kibworth town fc (elements from the old english fa badge and current chelsea logo):
  2. clean version of hrb fc: historical logos here: logos and brands
  3. nothing is wrong with the vector, on the contrary. andrea just posts pngs so that they are usable in-game immediately without the need to be converted first. 👍 i for one am glad you post vectors, because that’s what i’m after, saves me time to redraw logos.
  4. on a more on-topic note, i’ll be interested to see how perišić, son and kane will click. to me, that could be a very very nasty attacking triumvirate for opponents, plus conte is a proven master manager and coach. there could be bright days ahead for hotspur.
  5. the problem is the system and that includes the vast majority of fans who support it as long as their own club benefits. once corporate heads and shady businessmen from north america, europe and asia realized how profitable football is, it was basically the beginning of the end. everyone was screaming about qatar buying the world cup, but these same people stayed silent when it was the case with germany for 2006, england for 1996, usa 1994 and so forth. the former just learned from the latter and applied the same techniques. then you have this prostitute infantino trying to install a world cup every two years and someone like wenger is at the helm of advocating it … and he was a club manager, so familiar with the strain and exhaustion it puts on players to cover all competitions in a season. anyway, could go on forever. selectively deploring the outfall of that survival of the fittest mode won’t change anything. i’m positive that the bubble will burst eventually, even current and former professional players are losing interest in the game (most recent example is neven subotić, he gave a great interview some time ago, where he says this whole construct is making him sick and he doesn’t watch football much anymore, instead choosing to focus on his foundation for clean water in africa, which is what really counts to him). just one more thing: football for SPECTATORS is entertainment -- so something you do in your free time, to either relax or distract yourself for a bit. but ENTERTAINMENT industries (film, music, games) have become dominant in our everyday lives to the point where everything else is mostly neglected … pretty insane.
  6. ligue 1 (lonab - lotterie nationale burkinabè) - ID 13211662
  7. these are alternative versions (compact). the main official logos are as follows, including the text: a while ago, i have already sent @Derek a competitions logo pack for international and national competitions where they are included.
  8. looks like a conversion gone wrong. current logo from official french federation's website, the text is part of the logo:
  9. yes, absolutely! i was being unclear -- markitos had it spot on, it’s from their social media page. this was more a follow-up comment to my wikipedia statement, where the article on the club has the argentinian historical logo. i’ve edited the post to clear it up.
  10. @Markitos, great job. 👍 @handarugema, this is another case where wikipedia has the incorrect logo, they just copied the historic logo of the argentinian club (spanish wikipedia) -- markitos took the correct logo from their official facebook page: https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Club_Atlético_Nacional_Rosario_Central
  11. maybe this should be used for the stanley rous cup instead: the typeface is futura
  12. damien duff, robbie keane! ❤️ what a team they had @ the world cup 2002, shame how they lost against spain on penalties, that was some knockout game. i’ll never forget how they couldn’t run anymore but kept on marching to score that second goal in extra time, massive display of willpower. hajduk deserved that reality check -- we had too many inept boards and managers over the years, also a load of players who overestimated themselves. this time, it looks promising, looking forward to seeing who will be signed.
  13. i highly recommend livetv.ru -- live streams of pretty much any sports event. you can pick the language as well in most cases.
  14. shelbourne, you say? mate, i will have to instantly block you, i’m afraid … 😬😆 https://www.thesun.ie/sport/football/5236698/shelbourne-hajduk-champions-league-qualifying-round/ hajduk 👈 club from my first homebase split. europe’s oldest supporter/ultras group - torcida - is the club’s 12th player. they won the national cup this past thursday, ending a 9-year drought without national titles. eintracht 👈 club from my second homebase frankfurt am main. they famously breezed through the europa league 11 days ago, ending a 42-year drought without international titles. also national cup winners in 2018, ending a 30-year drought without national titles … do you spot a pattern here? 🤣 i have three more that i like for personal reasons and hope to see them progress to higher leagues: split 👈 younger »brother« of hajduk, their stadiums are several hundred meters away from each other. had a very good spell in the first croatian league when they played the europa league qualifications (fulham and torino were the opponents on each occasion), currently in the third league. my father used to play for them in the second yugoslav league for half a season in the late 1960s before he moved to germany. in his local club, omiš, he’s among the legends and was best scorer / player during his active time. omiš is also the same club where ivan perišić started his career. frankfurt 👈 shares its origins with eintracht, and played in the second league during its best times. currently in the fourth league. had a very successful section for women’s football and won the national title and cup a few times. kickers 👈 from offenbach am main. eintracht’s fiercest rivals, currently in the fourth league. two-times vice champions of germany (1950, 1959 -- lost the play-off against eintracht) and cup winners in 1970. won the hesse cup last week and thus qualified for the german cup. 99% of people would freak out if i told them i support eintracht and like kickers -- that’s probably the equivalent to liverpool and everton, just a few tads crazier. they have a positive score against eintracht, damn … 😂
  15. i would go with federation logos, as that is the kind of logo every federation has. i believe in the next ten years or so, most national sides will have their own logo (the so-called »bigger« nations have individual logos for the female and male teams even), but currently that is not the case, so you’d still end up with a mix of federation logos and team logos, and not one consistent category of logos. however, i’d again want to point out that i’m not playing fm, so this isn’t a vote, just something to consider.
  16. wikipedia in many cases isn’t reliable, sadly. there is a steady decline of editors, because often you have a few users who have hijacked topics/articles and then they gang up on others who edit against the former’s point of view (edit wars and the like), administrators do the same. it’s a good starting point, but no more than that. depending on which language edition you end up on, you will find conflicting information: example of racing club de france -- it’s an omnisports club, meaning there are sections for different sports, among them football. german wikipedia with outdated logos, but not the correct current one for the football section: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/RC_Paris spanish wikipedia with the logo of the main omnisports club, but not the one of the football section: https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racing_Club_de_France_Football russian wikipedia (same as spanish): https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Расинг_(футбольный_клуб,_Париж) french wikipedia with the correct logo: https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racing_Club_de_France_(football) english wikipedia has the correct logo as well, but often the logos are outdated or incorrect there. primary sources (official club sites, official club social media, official league/competition sites, official municipality web sites, official federation sites) are the ones that count, not wikipedia, regardless of how convenient it is to go there. @Derek has elaborated more on the flags, i wanted to keep it short. but here is the issue with the many flags of martinique -- there are at least six flags that have been used to represent martinique: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_of_Martinique locals strongly oppose the use of the snake flag (it was used for ships in the transatlantic slave trade) (in french) -- french president macron ordered the martinique branch of the national gendarmerie to stop using it as its emblem (in french): https://la1ere.francetvinfo.fr/martinique/citoyens-refusent-que-drapeau-aux-quatre-serpents-represente-martinique-545373.html https://www.sudouest.fr/france/martinique-la-gendarmerie-n-arborera-plus-l-embleme-aux-serpents-vestige-du-passe-esclavagiste-2932188.php
  17. those aren't official flags, and the use of some is strongly discouraged (like the snake flag). furthermore, there is parallel use of different flags for a region/territory, so selecting one would be arbitrary. it's best to keep these in the »alternatives« folder, because their official flag is the flag of france as they are overseas territories of france. generally speaking, just because there is something online doesn't mean that it's correct, it has to be researched on a case by case basis.
  18. tough call on the offside position, but ultimately justified. there is a difference between intended blocking/defending and passing in the rules. since fabinho defended, it was ruled offside. salah, mané and the others will have nightmares about courtois for some time.
  19. thanks! there was a lot at stake, you could feel it. but all in all, the difference in quality was quite clear, and to be fair, they were more than lucky not to play with ten men after that boot kick split rode's skull open ... all in all, eintracht deserved winners in my book. after chelsea and sevilla only the third team ever to win the title without a single defeat. looking forward to the supercup game. 😁
  20. ❤️❤️❤️ EINTRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACHTTTTTT ❤️❤️❤️
  21. yes, they look very blurry. i saw fm slovakia recommend twice the size -- 800 x 480 -- but that seems still a bit small. i’ll sort a few sample sizes and then you can see what works, will let you know.
  22. sure, here are a few previews -- i’ll try to find primarily views that cover as much of the pitch and the seats/stands as possible, make it a uniform look across the range. some stadiums are really impressive architectural concepts/designs (and executions, too). you could actually help me out on this one, indeed: what is the size of the stadium pictures in-game? then i could set a standard resize for the pictures i’ll collect. from left to right: eintracht (waldstadion - frankfurt am main, germany) - frankfurt (stadion am bornheimer hang - frankfurt am main, germany) kickers (stadion am biberer berg - offenbach am main, germany) - jagiellonia (stadion białystok - białystok, poland) hajduk (stadion poljud - split, croatia) - split (stadion park mladeži - split, croatia) lech (stadion poznań - poznań, poland) - super eagles (moshood kasimawoo olawale abiola national stadium - abuja, nigeria)
  23. @Derek, yes i had noticed the glitch, but as this was intended to be a prototype, i didn’t bother correcting it. i did pick different shapes and contours on purpose to see if it would work on all club crests. there are also linen and other fabrics that i’ll dive into and then see what could work best, maybe even something in the vein of those printed-on badges that become washed out and then you see the texture underneath. yours is very good, subdued. it has a touch of embroidery. i was thinking of that as well, but don’t want to spread myself too thin at the moment. i started collecting stadium pictures to put together a stadium pack one day, and that’ll take up time, too.
  24. i’ve been dabbling with an idea for a fabric/denim texture and would like to hear some feedback. this is just a first »sketch« if you will, and would have to be refined further, but i find the look intriguing.
