you misunderstand. i can see that it's not real arabic text/script in the book, otherwise i would have translated it like i did with the rest of the logo.

thanks, this is a news site.

since there is no mention of a logo change in the article, and the football association is not using it on any of its online presences (see links above), the news portal must have mixed it up. the current official logo is the one with the white background and without the stars.

the logo with the blue background has been around on a few png and vector websites (i think iconape and similar sites), indicating that al arabiaa sourced it from one of those places.
