News! And probably the best news the club can have at this moment. Local investors known as the 'Sterkhouders' want to take over ALL 100% Shares from the 'Big 5', the 5 foreign investors. This will mean that the club will fall back into the hands of local investors! No more vague constructions of foreign owners, hopefully this will bring an end to it all...

5 games left until the World Cup starts, beginning with FC Emmen. We dominated but drew the match, pretty disappointing.. Our first match in the KNVB Beker saw us win against PEC Zwolle, after that it

@VyKing 🤣   The first win against Ajax with me in charge has become reality, and what a performance it was!

  • They won't be.... Vitesse isn't a club on many clubs radar so Endrick is safe ❤️

All right.

Game over.

My club has lost their pro license indefinitely.

Licensing committee took their license once again a few weeks ago, Vitesse went to appeal this decision last Friday, but lost the appeal. I am gutted, and sad.

Things were finally going in the right direction with the Sterkhouders, local entrepreneurs from the region, but the club is punished for the past. However, in some points of view I can understand this.

The reign of the second oldest football club in the Netherlands has come to an end.

There is however one final straw... Taking it to civil court.

Yesterday was the lawsuit of Vitesse vs KNVB, regarding the pro license.

The verdict: it is officially over. No pro license means Vitesse will not play professional football anymore.

I am not surprised, but I actually did shed a tear 😭

Vitesse decided to appeal the decision in a expedited appeal (super fast tracked appeal (?) I am not sure if this is the right translation) last Monday. There is also still an ongoing substantive procedure against the decision to revoke the license.

Vitesse was given about 1 percent chance to get the license back. I still cannot fully comprehend the outcome, but Vitesse somehow have their license back! The KNVB can now appeal or take it to the 'Hoge Raad' (High Council), which is the highest court level in The Netherlands. It is a miracle, actually.

The soap continues...
