Recently, a number of logo submissions have suffered from various problems: they were either not marked as fantasy, or they were posted in the wrong club and thread. Please follow these rules that will be in effect from now on to make the workload manageable – in the future, submissions that fail to meet these rules will be ignored. Always VERIFY that the in-game ID you submit is CORRECT. Repeated failure to do so will result in in flagging your submissions as unreliable and thus demote them to lower priority. LOGO CATEGORIES 1. MAIN: This is the default category for correct and real-life logos that are current at the time of submission. 2. ALT(ERNATIVE): This is the default category for correct and real-life logos that are secondary, such as wordmarks or icons. 3. RETRO: This is the default category for correct and real-life logos that are historical or obsolete. 4. FAN(TASY): This is the default category for any fantasy logos, be it for real clubs and competitions, or fantasy clubs and competitions. Please make sure to post only MEN’S logos in the MEN’S thread, and WOMEN’S logos in the the WOMEN’S thread – in the future, submissions that fail to meet these rules will be ignored. The larger the logo collections grow, the more critical it is to avoid and minimize CONTAMINATION with incorrect submissions, as it increases the workload multifold and jeopardizes successful updates and corrections. While this notification will be occasionally posted as a reminder until we figure out the most efficient way to inform all members about the rules, you should be aware that common sense is required to make the experience positive and enjoyable for all of us.

The logo updates have now started. Thank you to everyone who submitted as always. Any logos submitted up until this point will be included in this months updates. @rapa I've spent the past day preparing the 800+ logos you've submitted only to discover they are mixed between men and women and more importantly there are many logos which are not in the official database. This can cause so many problems for our packs and should not be submitted without making us aware. I could have started the updates yesterday and been finished by now if I was aware of this. It's been posted many times previously that fictional ID's should be marked as alternatives and not included in the official folders. FM Ref is a tool for reference but does include fictional leagues. Please verify using the main editor when possible. If we look at only boys' clubs, there are 2,109. We received confirmation that for clubs where activity could not be verified, feedback has been provided to the official, and corrections are scheduled to be made in FM27. I went ahead and checked in the editor. FM26 has 219 Japanese men's clubs. This is in FM24. The search caps at 500 records. FM26 removed hundreds of Japanese clubs from the game. However it's possible the Japanese version has exclusive clubs too. The ones in rapa's screenshots don't appear in the editor for me: 20004+ IDs line up with new FM26 clubs. Sortitoutsi has an editor database that I checked, and it acts strange in the fact that looking up one of the clubs not in FM26, it shows up in the search suggestions and not the results, But one in the database works fine. This doesn't happen with custom clubs.

the logo is comparatively new and has been introduced sometime around 2022. azzurri in white text in the middle, navy blue background and white rim/border. there is a graphic element at the bottom, possibly the logo of fukui shimbun, there is some connection, maybe through the coach hiroshi hata: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100054567845437 https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100012514485090&sk=photos before that, they only had a wordmark (at least from 2016, maybe earlier). here’s the redrawn version of the historical or alt logo -- it should be the main logo until we end up with a high resolution of the other logo:

In this situation I will remove the two logos from my own pack so that when I run the config files in the next update those ID numbers won't be read. This means the logos won't be displayed in the game but will remain in the megapack until it's next release later this year. If a logo cannot be found or verified it should not be submitted. If it's a poor source still post it so that one of us can try to redraw it or find a better version.
