Not in this thread mate, post as many as you want.

Are they teams that are not in our database or the FM database or both?

Both. Are all new teams created in this season

The new database is fantastic, great job! I'm looking forward to a possibilty of a submission history being added, because sometimes i forget how many submissions i'm actually doing😂 I'll try to help as much as i can in terms of detail, already started doing so for the Greek teams!

Just don't bother with greek teams that their original logos in the Megapack are dated before June 2012, and present in both editor and in-game. I've already updated around 100 of them, for this monthly update. ; )

I'm doing the description for the greek teams (nickname, stadiums, kits, team description etc) i didn't have plans to alter the logos so i think we're okay on that part :)

It's been a great start, thanks to all you guys. More visibility sorted soon but the submissions have been coming fast and in particular the team and competition details.

@Derek @Markitos

Two separate IDs need to be created because Cittadella Vis Modena, which plays in Serie D Group D under this ID (43204771), has changed its name to Cittadella Modena and has set up a new satellite club, Vis Cittadella, which plays in the Eccellenza Emilia-Romagna Group A.

The official Cittadella Modena social media accounts cover matches and news for both clubs.

Thanks @AndreaSSL1900

Once there is an ID number in the official FM database we can set up a new club by selecting '+New Entity' on the main page of the graphics database.

IMPORTANT

File naming is extremely important here. Please take the time to review the below setup and do not deviate from it.

Official logos - should have ID number only i.e. 676.png

Alternative logos - should have ID number and alt directly after it i.e. 676alt.png, 676alt1.png, 676alt2.png etc.

Historical Logos - should have ID number and retro directly after it i.e. 676retro.png, 676retro1.png, 676retro2.png etc.

Concept Logos - should have ID number and fantasy directly after it i.e. 676fantasy.png, 676fantasy1.png, 676fantasy2.png etc

🛑 ⚠️ DO NOT INCLUDE UNDERSCORES OR UNDERSCORE CLUB - 676_club ⚠️ 🛑

Once you have submitted your logo/s changes will be applied in the form of an update pack as usual. If you submit a logo with a background and its approved, you will see that background until I finish the updates and submit the game ready version.

How do I know that the logo has been approved ?

Is there a way to view the logos that have been uploaded recently ?

for example, I have a better logo, or if I want to challenge the validity of the one that has been submitted

Yes is the short answer mate but I'm still testing the functionality of the system and some other new add-ons. You can now view your submissions by clicking on the main page of the "Graphics Database' and choosing 'My Submissions' in the top right hand corner.

We will be editing it slightly to include an overview of all submissions but at the moment that's only available in the back end of the site. However, if you feel a logo is incorrect simply submit a new one and leave a note. Discussion can also be opened in here to discuss anything logo related.

I'll make another post once all the new features are tested correctly.

Btw, I am thinking something about the general guidelines of what logos exactly we should upload.
A debate would be useful in order to exchange some thoughts I think.

1st. I came across many clubs that they use (just for their social media) some enchanted logos with 3D effects, lightning effects etc. I think that they are unrealistic and we should stick to the actual logos they use, for example like the national teams.

2nd. In addition with the previous one, I see no reason why the Tottenham logo for example is totally white now in the pack, while this is used for the keepers only. On their first team shirt, they still have the classic blue-white we all know.

3rd. Even though in what I create lately, I use stars (if they exist ofc.), for personal usage I use... starless ones because in a 10-15 years save all of these are changing, so I find them unrealistic. Not to mention logos like Deportivo Cali's which looks more like a Christmas tree. We can take the example of Milan, which has one star on the shirt, but none on the main logo. Same goes for anniversary logos which they are just for one year, or things like the world cup, euro and other international competitions. Any thoughts?

4th. Finally, because I just came across club 85032632, even though the name appears to be AS Facture Biganos in the editor, they changed their name around 2021 into FC Biganos, but keeping the exact year of establishment and their previous history. So I found and have ready their current one with the new name. How should we treat such entities?

Btw, should I wait an announcement here for bulk uploads in order to postpone my updates, which are planned for tomorrow?

Thanks in advance.

Hi

I would stick to the official logo of whatever entity it is i.e. club, nation, competition etc. No effects is best for me as I have to use that logo to create other styles. On the Tottenham logo I'll leave that for @kenolio as I believe he submitted it. Apologies if that's incorrect mate.

On the stars, I would prefer none and have with stars as alternatives as it helps with sizing in-game. I know a lot of people will disagree with that as it goes against my earlier statement about official logos. Anniversary logos are typically placed in the alternatives folder but I'm sure there will be some as official. I would advise against this going forward.

On club 85032632. Firstly there will be records in the database without names and in this case I'd ask anyone that spots one to simply add the name. Typically if a team changes it's name there is a new ID number for it, although this is not always the case. This will be on a case by case basis as every situation is different. My advise is to post about it in this thread as members normally would. People like @Markitos are SI researchers and can probably advise better than I.

On the bulk upload, it's entirely up to you if you want to wait or not. I'm not rushing the developer on this as it's highly complex in how it behaves with our current database and upload model. I would be hopeful it's ready before the last update but I can't make any guarantees. It will need to be tested extensively before use.

I know a few people have asked about it now but in truth very few people were actually sending me logos in bulk before adding this. Maybe 3.

I would ask that you don't include any unneeded folders like 'small' please. I will give more guidance when the bulk upload system is ready.

I would stick to my previous messages about what is a 'game ready' logo. No background, edges checked on a dark background, minimum of 512px, fully cropped, not 512x512 unless its circular or square and named the logo ID number only. No _club etc as I add that afterwards.

I also dislike when clubs use all mono logos as I think they're a bit boring, but we have to try to follow what's actually used by clubs and where.

Sometimes clubs make this easy by having publicly available brand guidelines, other times we have to infer from official sources. In Tottenham's case, the current logo is clearly what the club wants to be used. There are many cases where the shirt version of the badge is different from the digital version, but I think FM should obviously follow the latter.

You can see it in the following official places:

https://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/

https://www.premierleague.com/en/tables/premier-league/2026-27

https://www.premierleague.com/en/match/2places645264/tottenham-hotspur-vs-coventry-city/overview

The navy version is used for light backgrounds (e.g. the league table above) and the white version for dark ones (e.g. the box for the final score against Coventry). Note that it also has that prominent transparent portion at the top, which the previous logo didn't.

Maybe (that's also the reason I dislike using real kits, but they're very popular all the same), but like above I don't really see any option more correct than following club intentions as closely as possible. Sometimes versions with stars are preferred and sometimes not. For example, Gotham FC updated its logo this year to use double stars, but when looking at NWSL media the primary version seems to be the version without any.

When there isn't any official guidelines from the club itself, it's a bit of guess, but we can use context to see which version is preferred.

ID 43066237 - there is no such club in the database

Where should such information be reported now ?

You can report it in here or you can click on Graphics Database and select +New Entry. From there you can add the entity yourself.

FMG Graphics Database

We are delighted to introduce our new FMG Graphics Database which will act as the base for all our work which goes towards creating our packs.

This includes a submission system, staff approvals, relationships to other images i.e. club to club, stadiums, kits etc and other items listed below.

Some details

  • searching and browsing the database enabled;

  • multiple images attached to the same club, competition or nation;

  • image submission by researcher, members, etc;

  • submission statuses such as Unprepared, Game Ready or Rejected;

  • staff approval/rejection workflow;

  • individual image downloads;

  • the ability to add new clubs, competitions, nations, etc.;

  • member/staff suggestions for changes to existing information, with approval before those changes are applied;

  • browsing between teams in the same division made easy

This is a BETA at the moment but is live in the sense that any changes you submit will be live in the database.

Team Page - Liverpool Example

Screenshot-2026-10-11-at-17-29-06.png

Changing/Adding Team Information

Make changes or add information to any team, competition, nation etc by selecting the "Suggest Changes" on the entities page. This will open a window similar to this one below which will allow you to populate the information. Once that is done a staff member will then review the information and either approval or reject the item.

Screenshot-2026-10-11-at-17-55-34.png

How does this effect researching logos?

Going forward we will no longer post logo updates in this thread as the Graphics Database submission system should be used. This will improve workflow and provide a clear understanding of what is currently in the megapacks.

IMPORTANT: If a club does not have an ID number then it should be posted in here until one is assigned. It should then be uploaded to the database once one is assigned. This will mean we still have to add an 'Entity' for the item.

How to submit a logo?

To submit an updated logo to the database simply start by searching the item you wish to update by ID number or name. If a name is missing from an item you will be required to add that also.

Screenshot-2026-10-11-at-17-58-11.png

Then select 'Submit Graphic' on the entities page and you will see this window.

Screenshot-2026-10-11-at-17-56-10.png

Then you will have the option to update the item you wish to submit by choosing the below options.

Screenshot-2026-10-11-at-17-56-15.png

Select the item you wish to update and then you will need to mark the item as either 'Game Ready' or 'Unprepared'. Game Ready logos must be png files of any size put preferably a minimum of 512 pixels in size and a maximum of 2000 pixels in size. Anything higher than 2000 pixels is unnecessary but anything lower than 512 pixels may result in poor quality in game. Always check the logo edges on a dark background to spot blemishes.

Anything other than this must be marked as 'Unprepared'. Any of the file types list in the image below are acceptable. You can also leave a note as you previously would in this thread.

Screenshot-2026-10-11-at-17-56-19.png

IMPORTANT

File naming is extremely important here. Please take the time to review the below setup and do not deviate from it.

Official logos - should have ID number only i.e. 676.png

Alternative logos - should have ID number and alt directly after it i.e. 676alt, 676alt1, 676alt2 etc.

Historical Logos - should have ID number and retro directly after it i.e. 676retro, 676retro1, 676retro2 etc.

Concept Logos - should have ID number and fantasy directly after it i.e. 676fantasy, 676fantasy1, 676fantasy2 etc

⚠️ DO NOT INCLUDE UNDERSCORES OR UNDERSCORE CLUB - 676_club ⚠️

Once you have submitted your logo/s changes will be applied in the form of an update pack as usual. If you submit a logo with a background and its approved, you will see that background until I finish the updates and submit the game ready version.

Missing Entities

If an entity such as a club is missing but has an ID number, you can still add it from the main page of the database by selecting the '+ New Entity' button in the top right hand corner.

Screenshot-2026-10-11-at-17-58-11.png

Then simply fill out the form and we will review the information before approving. Once a new entity is approved, graphics can then be added to it.

IMPORTANT: Only ID numbers from the official FM database should be added. Any custom database ID numbers will be rejected.

Screenshot-2026-10-11-at-17-58-19.png

Creating Relationships Between Entities

IMPORTANT: You will see an option for 'Related Entity' on the team page. You will also see 'Share Graphics'.

This is where we can link different teams together such as Real Madrid, Castilla or the Real Madrid womens team.

You can create as many links to an entity as you like but only one at a time. Once one is approved, more can be added.

To create a 'Related Entity' you can either search the name or ID number and assign it.

If you wish to 'Share Graphics' from Real Madrid to Castilla, you must be on the Castilla page and tick the box. The graphics will then be applied from Real Madrid to Castilla.

If you then submit a new logo for Real Madrid in the future, moderators will be alerted to the link/s in entities and will have the ability to apply an updated logo to all related items.

We Need Your Help!

As you can see from the above forms, the only information you are required to fill out is the entity type, name when missing and ID number. However, to make this database something we can all enjoy and work on together, please add as much detail as possible. This is only a starting point and gaining help from others would be greatly appreciated.

If you guys have any questions, find some bugs or even want to suggest improvement to the database please do so in the dedicated thread linked below.

https://footballmanagergraphics.com/forum/68-fmg-graphics-database-discussion-section/

I've put a lot of work into the Premier League teams to display what is possible so check that out as a starting point!

https://footballmanagergraphics.com/graphics/record/506-premier-league/

I would like to ask that anyone uploading graphics here, to please have another read of the above information I previously posted.

90%+ of everything I've received is perfectly fine but a lot of what I'm being asked was already posted here. Thanks 🙂

Monthly reworks and updates of the oldest logos in the FMG megapack.
This will be the last bulk upload, because from now on I'll be using the new database which I love!

Additionally, as mentioned earlier, club 85032632 (AS Facture Biganos), changed their name around 2021 into FC Biganos by keeping same year of establishment and club history. This is their current logo.85032632.png

Thanks, just one thing I’m unsure about: the 512px minimum. Does that mean the longest side must be at least 512px? (e.g. 512x400 or 250x512 would be fine)

I’m looking forward to doing a bulk upload, so no rush on your reply. I’d just like to get it right before I start.

Yes that's correct but that's just the ideal minimum really as that's in-game size. If it is lower than 512px I would still encourage sharing the logo and I will attempt to improve it. It should still be marked unprepared.

The bulk upload is now ready for testing. I will hold off for a day or two before testing and I will use John's pack to find any faults.
