I was wondering how SI are going to implement this. Women and men's football is so different. Not to criticise, but amateur male teams beat women's national teams all the time. How would they handle the ca and pa for example, compared to men?
-
Wow, finishing that high certainly must be a surprise! Take them to the title next and promote again, I think they should be there, just like Schalke by the way, as well as Hamburger SV... All 'fallen giants'

Very nice first season! I didn't even know 1860 went down to 3. Liga. Didn't they share the Allianz Arena with Bayern before?
-
I am terrible too, I will look into this later though! Sorry for my bloody late response, very busy atm...

Been there 4 times, once Bodrum, once Side, once in an obscure village near Antalya and once to Istanbul. I liked all the times I went, but for my liking it is all too touristy, and expensive for those parts as well. Kusadasi I have not been but I would like to believe it is similar. Enjoy the kebabs and other great food there!

Money-wise it's easy... In terms of player quality I'm not entirely convinced..

Unfortunately not much business my club can do. The club is still waiting (for 10 months now) for approval of the takeover by the KNVB. There are also rumours of a history of fraud by Coley Parry (the new owner), it does not seem he can tell where he got the money from which he invests, etc. At the moment the club is being 'held hostage' by the KNVB... So not a lot of new players, Eloy Room is probably coming back to replace Scherpen, Kozlowski's loan from Brighton has been extended, Tielemans coming over from Jong PSV, and a French player named Amine Boutrah from some obscure French club... All on a free obviously. I think it will become a very difficult year in staying up, but, who knows? We'll see...

Why in the world is there no topic about this? FM25 will finally be a completely new game as we know it! What you think about it?
-
Yeah, lol, but not playing a lot at the moment, although I am a season further now. Might pick it up again soon!

Hahahaha, Turks are always using their horn everywhere, yeah, agree on that one. Ohrid is beautiful, but a little more touristy, prices are a little higher yes. The village of Pestani, where I go, the prices are so cheap. But the most insane prices were at the church of St. Naum. These were Dutch prices, or maybe even higher than that. It is sacred for most of the population, so that definitely surprised me. The owner (in my opinion) fucked up a beautiful and sacred place for the sake of tourism.
-
I actually travelled through Albania to the city of Pogradec, which is also near the lake of Ohrid. Did not care much for it, did not like the atmosphere. Maybe not touristy, but the prices were insane... Also, my flight from Ohrid to Dortmund got cancelled back in February, so I had to travel to Tirana (3 hour drive) to get a flight back. Was a long ride, but a beautiful one, though Albanians are crazy people on the road!
-
If you want to go, tickets to Ohrid should generally be cheap. Do not know if flights depart from England though, to Skopje they almost certainly will, but then it is a really long drive (3 hours) through the mountains to Ohrid. Go in May or August/September, that is either before, or after the high season, not a lot of English tourists either (I think). I still have not seen everything, in February I did a lot of sightseeing because Dragan drove us around. I hope I can do some excursions (or at least one), there are two guide operators who have both lived in Holland for a period of time, so speak Dutch

journeyman ZERO TO HERO JOURNEYMAN | FOOTBALL MANAGER 2023
Tempelman replied to SamuraiHex's topic in Football Manager Stories
Looking forward to this one! -
In september I am travelling back to Ohrid, North Macedonia, because my friend is then getting married with his soon to be wife. I also wanted my dad to tag along, but my mother felt the tickets were way too expensive, and my dad did not want to get into a financial debate with her so he kept his mouth shut. Me and Dragan (my friend there) tried to convince him to come, but to no avail... So, the person I had to convince was my mum... Just so happened to be that last friday we were talking about it, when I would leave for the wedding and such and so on. At one point I said, let's have a look at the ticket prices (it was well over €300 in the past), and now it was around €195. 'That seems okay, does it?' I said... Mum: 'Yeah, that is not too much!' Me: 'Shall I book two tickets then, for me and dad?' She answered: 'Yeah, book it! I didn't have a present yet for his retirement, so this seems perfect'... After 3 months, I managed to convince her lol over 350 guests at that wedding, and the best part is, dad does not know it just yet, we wanted to reveal it when he officially retires. I am really looking forward to his reaction!

German Football club to offer fans Free Tickets
Tempelman replied to VyKing's topic in Football Thread
A concept on this scale, no... Sometimes when your team performs badly, they return the ticket money, but not like this at all -
I fucking love you man!

Onto the transfers... - Million Manhoef left in the winter period for 20,5M (25M potential) to Hertha BSC. He is the last original player to leave, and I have attracted two youth players (Iliyan Hristev from Botev Plovdiv and Antonio Nguvulo from Guarani FC for 5M and 5,25M respectively. - In the summer Alessandro Voglaccio left to Real San Sebastian for 20M. As replacement Diego Coppola was attracted from Bayern for 60M. - Dario Essugo was attracted on loan from PSG, as backup for the midfield. - Another youth player, Sorin Misaila was attracted from FCSB for 4M.

I am hungry so I will take the bait two times CL winner and WC winner, not so much under the radar anymore Asshole

Well, Inter got this one...

Making it a year report this time... It has been an exciting and nailbiting season at the end of it! Though I'm making this story a little short... In the Eredivisie we had a 7 point lead on Ajax, but in game 30 we lost to AZ (Not deserved), and in game 32 we lost to Ajax at home, AND after that we drew to Heracles and Ajax went passed us, taking first place... We were about to lose the title race here... Ajax faced PSV at home in the final game, and we faced Volendam. We won 5-2 away, and Ajax lost their game against PSV in the last game!!!!! Making us champions once again!!!! A bloody miracle!! You can't make this shit up lol, I was ecstatic! Scoring 108 goals in total BUT, we conceded 34, which is quite a lot. Champions League... We had no real troubles in the league fase, only lost to Man City and drew against Inter, other games were impressive with heavy wins against for example @Derek's Liverpool (sorry mate, had to tag you ) We also breezed through the next rounds, with wins against Juventus and Atletico Madrid (9-0!). PSG was more difficult but we edged that game narrowly. Then we faced Milan in the final... It was 1-1 after 90 minutes, and we were 3-1 behind after 105 minutes. Then Endrick became Hulk and suddenly scored a hattrick in 7 minutes, I fucking screamed after he scored the winner in the 120th minute, and before that as well, oh my fucking God! And again... You can't make this shit up! Crazy season. Talking about Endrick. I do not think I have ever had such a profilic striker since Maxim Tsigalko (CM01/02). Maybe a newgen here or there, but I do not remember exactly. I believe Tsigalko has (or had) my record of 52 league goals in a single season. Maybe it is the players around him, but Endrick scores so many goals it is insane. At a little over half the season he already surpassed his last season amount of goals. In the end he scored 56 (!!!!) league goals (34 games), 27 (!!!!!) CL goals (16 games), 10 (!!!!) KNVB Beker goals (5 games)... The total over the entire season is 93 friggin' goals over 55 (!) games. Though, his goalscoring prowess stagnated slightly in the second half of the season, still a lot, but not as much as in the first half. Schedule and results Transfers and such in a later post...

Luca Brecel wins the final!
