Congratulations mate! For a second I thought Rangers would take it! It was a nervy and not a good match of both teams though

Forza Napoli sempre! - Moving from France to Italy!
I have seen takeovers at other clubs, not mine. This is only the second I think. I actually feared for my job since it was a sugar daddy taking over, they most of the time want a high reputation manager or a so called friend, or so I read in FM articles. It is a win for me, though I hope I won't be bored with this game now...

Vieira will probably move to the middle, or maybe I will loan Lucas out at first. Zielinski is aging too, so might rotate him and Vieira. Also have Romero too... Going to be hard to keep all of them happy, and Zielinski is team leader so definitely want to keep him happy, but I'll find a way! Come winter time I will hopefully get more money to spend, at least, I expect more money! I have never been in charge of a club with a sugar daddy on the foreground, I think I was lucky with that one. Surprising how quick that went btw, 1 day, deal complete lol. Never seen a takeover conclude THAT fast!

If I were coach from the beginning of last season, and seeing how last season went since I was in charge, we should have become champions. What you think of Gustavo Lucas? I think he is a great buy!

Forza Napoli sempre! - Moving from France to Italy!
Starting the game again against Sampdoria, we played a decent game and narrowly won 1-0, we deserved more though. Next was Udinese and it was a tough match, we edged it though and won again with a one goal difference. Away to Spezia we deserved more as we were totally in control of the match but again won 1-0. A win is a win, in my book! Second match in the CL, away to Munich. Bayern dominated us, but it was Scamacca who opened the score with a brilliant counter from us. In the closing stages of the game Bayern equalised deservedly and we won a point. Home to Sassuolo and again we had a pretty difficult match, but edged it again and took 3 points: 1-0. International duty break, and we started fresh for a match against Verona, an easy 3-0 win. I extended my contract to 2029, with a 80k p/w wage. It previously was 2027 on a 50k p/w wage, so quite an increase! Third match in the CL vs Benfica away, we played a decent match and scored, but it was offside. The match ended 0-0. We're sitting quite comfortable in 1st place in Serie A at the moment! Before you wonder where the hell Juventus is, they're 14th 🤯 Schedule and results: Competition overview: I have also signed a new player, a Brazilian newgen wonderkid Gustavo Lucas. He has been on my radar for quite some time and decided to activate his release clause of 15,75M to sign him. He will join us from Corinthians. Excited, because he seems like a gem! Gustavo Lucas profile: Going to watch the EL final now! Edit: I have been researching the former players of Napoli, the ones who were sold or anything. Found nothing really weird but just one transfer: Alex Meret was sold for a mere 1,6M early in the game to Shakhtar. Why, such a low fee? I don't believe Ospina was that much better... Hell, I think Meret is better than Livakovic at the moment. Meret's average has been around 7,5 through 6 seasons. And yes, this league is not active, but that average is insanely high for a goalkeeper... I also was unaware that Scamacca was at PSV Eindhoven at an early point in his career, he was part of the youth setup in 2014/15, coming from Roma. It appears he didn't make an impact at all, and was sold to Sassuolo later. He was also sent on loan to PEC Zwolle in my country, where he played 8 games without scoring, not making much of an impact either.

Forza Napoli sempre! - Moving from France to Italy!
Short update this time... Starting the season against Lazio away, we totally dominated this game and won 2-0. In the group stage of the Champions League we are pitted against Bayern München, Benfica and.................................. Bordeaux. 🧐🤣 Anyway, quite a difficult group... Up next is Juventus at home, we played a decent match, it was quite even, but we edged it: 1-0. Great result! Next up is a difficult away match against Inter (Very difficult start of the season). We edged this game but 'The New Signing' missed two good chances to score. The match ended 0-0. Former club Bordeaux is up next, at home, in our first game in the Champions League. I'm very excited actually to play against them this time! The squad has not changed much, Patrick Vieira is now their manager and he seems to be doing well. 'The New Signing' opened the score for us. We dominated the entire match, but only won 1-0. Schedule and results: Competition overview: I was promised a higher transfer budget of 78M, but as said before, I did not get it... I have been looking for a replacement for Lozano, I wanted to sign Isak Bergmann Johanneson, but he demanded way too much for my liking. I've known him from my Vitesse game and I know he is a great player, and he can play in a lot of positions. Turning my attention to a former Lazio player, 21yo Luka Romero, and decided to sign him for 36,5M from RB Leipzig. Dubbed 'The New Signing' 😉 Also been looking for a decent backup for the rightback position, ended up loaning a 19yo newgen named Admilson Cabral from Benfica. I have some other players shortlisted, among them are Hamed Traore (Sassuolo, AMC/L) and Luka Susic (AMC, as possible replacement for 32yo Piotr Zielinski). Financially we're doing great, since we have a South Korean tycoon supporting us, hoping he will up the transfer budget when the winter transfer period arrives. Next year the budget will be a guaranteed 72M. Transfer overview: Finances: First XI: Decent start of the new season, we're playing good matches!

I did not get more transfer budget, although it was promised to me... So it remains at around 40M. - Kalidou Koulibaly has been sold to Shakhtar for a fee of 4M, as a replacement I've signed 22yo Kaiky from Tottenham for a combined fee of 44M. Should be a very good replacement. - Andrea Belotti has been sold for 7M to Lazio, as a replacement I have signed 21yo Rodrigo Ribeiro, a talented young Portuguese striker from Sporting CP for 18,5M. - Xavi Simons has been sold for 2M to Salernitana, he was surplus to requirements. - 17yo Stefano Ollanu has joined the club from Benevento for 5M. - I was after a 18yo German wonderkid for 9M, but he chose to join Freiburg despite having offered him double the salary. He opted to stay in his home country. Unfortunate, he was very good! - Oscar was twice under transfer bid from Leeds (20M first, me being greedy: 🤑 26M second). Was looking to sell since he is a backup, though important, but it were two good bids. He refused. - Hirving Lozano moved to Porto, for a low fee of 11,5M. The search for a replacement is ongoing. That's it for now! No huge transfers out although I expected some, considering the interest...

Report of the final matches... First: Benevento at home, no troubles at all but surprised how many times we struck the woodwork: 3-0. After this match we will not be able to get the title anymore, since Inter has a better goal difference than we have. Too bad, but could be expected. We're sitting neatly in third place, and secured CL group stage. Maybe we can still become second. The last game of the league is against Bologna away from home. It was a draw and we were visibly struggling. Juventus grabbed the title on the last day as Inter lost their last match. The match of my career is starting now, the EL final against Hertha BSC! Both teams had chances in the first half with Hertha being slightly better, but still 0-0. We're going into extra time with Hertha still being the better team. SCAMACCA!!!!! Goal disallowed. The game will again go to penalties... Scamacca misses the second penalty. Hertha scored all of their penalties and are deserved winners. I just could not get my team going, maybe I was a little harsh regarding team talks. Two finals, two losses. I'm gutted. But at the same time proud. We exceeded expectations, considering where we came from it has been an amazing season all the same. But still, two finals, two losses. 😭 Mixed feelings... Schedule and results: Final standings: Let's see what next season brings! We have a decent budget and there is some interest in a lot of players. Work to do I guess! Edit: Laurentiis has stepped down from his chairman position and a tycoon is in talks of taking over the club... He will invest more money into the club, which hopefully I will be able to spend, since I don't know if I should be worried about my position now. Transfer embargo in effect. One day later: takeover complete. There will be investments in the youth facilities and a further 63M has been pumped into the club. Club vision has changed slightly, expectations remain the same. Waiting on a new and potentially much higher transfer budget...

Our home leg semi final against Roma in the Europa League was next. We dominated this game but unfortunately we drew 1-1. Since we have a decent record against them I hope we can still win this away... We meet Milan again, for the third time in a short period, at home. After a dreadful first half, and scolding the team, we turned the game in our favour, totally dominating the second half and eventually winning 2-1. Closing in on Inter's second place with 1 point behind them, and Juventus obviously still in 1st, with 3 points behind. 3 matches to go... Roma is up next, in our second leg of the semi final of the EL. Osimhen is back on the left, returning to the side from injury. Scamacca opened the score and we went 1-0 ahead at half-time. We managed to defend this lead to the end, WE ARE THROUGH TO THE FINAL OF THE EUROPA LEAGUE!! We will meet Hertha BSC in the final! Against Torino we played a good game, but unfortunately Torino managed to clinch to a draw. Despite the result, we are still in the title challenge with two games to go. Inter took over 1st place from Juventus, 3 and 2 points behind respectively. The final against Inter is up! The first half was how the game started, it was a little boring... The second half didn't have much to offer either as we go into extra time. Off all people Lozano almost opened the score in the 103th minute, but unfortunately hit the bar! We go into penalties! All penalties were neatly taken with no troubles, unfortunately Oscar missed the target and hit the post. We lost the final 😭 But what an amazing run it was!! On the bright side: We got a 40M budget for next year... Schedule and results: Competition overview: To be continued later today...

Forza Napoli sempre! - Moving from France to Italy!
I was pretty excited to continue the game now, after the last great run and hoping to capatalise on it further. Unfortunately Osimhen got injured for 6 weeks (or so), and we will have to miss him. Starting the game again against Udinese, though it was a pretty easy game for us, we should have won by more: 1-0. Up next is the first leg of the quarter final at home in the Europa League against Lazio. We dominated the game but like the game against Udinese we narrowly won 1-0... I hope we will finish it away from home. We moved up to 4th since the last league win, and continueing our impressive run against Salernitana: 2-0. We're now making a title challenge, with 6 games to go we're only 6 points behind league leaders Inter. Pretty impressive if you see where we were half the season! The team is just totally crushing it at the moment! Time for the away leg in the Europa League against Lazio. Can you believe I cheered for the wrong team? Immobile opened the score (and I thought it was Scamacca, but Lazio played in blue, and my team in red 🧐) with a scorcher from distance... Later it was Scamacca who scored with an easy tap-in, and the score remained that way. Never in real trouble, and on to the semi finals against Roma! Difficult match against Roma is next! It was a tight affair but we managed to edge it, Roma missed the equaliser through a penalty and we ran away 1-0 winners, a huge victory, taking over 3rd place from them! Coppa time, the away leg against Milan. Milan was dominating the game but Livakovic was dominating the goal. Through a mistake at the back we were 1-0 in front at half-time. Milan was throwing everything at us in the second half but Livakovic kept us in the game, we won, and play the final against Inter! The Serie A is so bloody exciting... We're only 3 points behind league leaders Juve and Inter now. Our next game is against Sassuolo. Although the match was fairly even, we just finished the chances a lot better: 2-0. Schedule and results: Competition overview: What an amazing comeback this has been! Just 3 points and into a title challenge out of bloody nowhere! Can't wait to finish this season, this team keeps surprising and amazing me!

Forza Napoli sempre! - Moving from France to Italy!
I have decided to play some more today and I'm actually glad I did... Kind of a spoiler isn't it? We have some very difficult matches ahead, not going to lie, the big 3 all in a row. We started against Lazio with a lucky draw, with us scoring the 2-2 in the last minutes of the game. Little did I know that after this match the machine really started... Starting with Sampdoria who we absolutely destroyed with a 2-0 victory. Granted, they were ten-man down, but it was the start of an impressive run of matches. Udinese was next in the Coppa and they had no chance: 3-1. Ternana didn't stand a chance either as we dominated to a 2-0 win there. Next was our first leg in the Europa League against OL. We finished this match in the first half but in the second half we were pushed back a lot but still took the win: 2-1. Next up: Inter, league leaders. I expected a difficult match and hoped to snatch a draw but it was a pretty even affair with us perhaps edging it narrowly. With the game nearing to an end Fabio Vieira scored the winner in the 88th minute! The second leg against OL was up, and we again had a good performance, holding them quite easily to a draw, and through to the next round which will be Spanish side Hispalis. Next up is a difficult match against Juventus/Zebre (On a side note: I haven't added the real names yet, since the new patch arrived). Again we played an impressive match we probably should have won, but The Old Lady scored in the last minute of the game to hold us to a draw. Against Milan in the Coppa, the first of two legs, we totally dominated and should have won by more, but I hope 2-0 will be enough. Spezia away seemed to be a difficult game for us and we got away with a 1-0 victory. We didn't play as well as we did before, but a win is a win. The first leg against Hispalis was next and we didn't really have any troubles with them, as we dominated to a 2-0 win, with one goal questionably chalked off for offside... Next up is Verona away, they were also no match for this unstoppable machine at the moment as we dominated to a 3-0 win. Away to Hispalis we didn't play well, but won 1-0 thanks to a screamer from distance of Fabian. In the next round we face Lazio. Before the international duty period starts we have one game to go, against Fiorentina. We didn't have much difficulty against them but forgot to score in the first half, and they did just that. In the second half we missed three great oppertunities in a row, and it took some time, but eventually we cruised to a deserved 3-1 victory! Schedule and results: Competition overview: So, a very impressive run of matches, though still 5th (even went down to 6th after the draw against Juve) since the Lozano incident! I'm so incredibly frustrated with this guy, I took him off the transfer list and started playing him more than before, but he is never motivated and for the love of God I can't get him to play like I know he can. I hope I can offload him in the summer because he is of no use at all anymore. I'm already eying two replacements, either Selem Bressi of San Lorenzo (19yo newgen wonderkid) or Filip Stevanovic of Man City. Both are talented but Bressi is probably a lot cheaper... I've managed to extend Osimhen's contract and as such any interest has now gone. There's a lot of interest in other players though, we'll see how this goes when the summer transfer window opens!

Forza Napoli sempre! - Moving from France to Italy!
Time to play! Home against Torino first, it wasn't a very good game of either side but we came back from behind to win 2-1. Next is an away game against Milan before the winter break, despite both teams creating lots of chances it was the first draw with me in charge: 1-1, Scamacca equalised in the dying seconds of the game, but the game could have gone either way to be honest, so a draw is a decent and fair result. In the Europa League we start against Oympique Lyonnais in the first knockout round. An away game against Benevento is next on the list. It was a very easy 1-0 win but we should have scored more, hitting the bar 4 (!) times. Next is a home game against Bologna. We played well but needed a penalty to secure the win: 1-0. Next we face Spezia at home for the Coppa Italia. We secured the match early in the game to make it a 2-0 victory, on to the next round! Before the game against Benevento Lozano came to me asking for more playing time, and yes, he is a good player, but simply put: Fabio Vieira is just the better player... I refused it and unfortunately this caused a stir in the dressing room atmosphere. I do want to keep him around though, so I started giving him some more playing time than usual. He's always complacent. Nothing I can do about it. Koulibaly got an offer of 3,7M of Milan, which I refused for obvious reasons, which has clearly unsettled him, I made him a promise he can go for 6M. All of these things together probably cost us the next game home against Atalanta, which we lost 2-1, with Scamacca even missing two massive chances to score.. It was about the same story the next game, a draw against ten-man Cagliari, again at home, although the atmosphere seems to have improved again a little... Away to Pisa we finally managed to scrape a win. 2-1. Schedule and results: Competition overview: - After Hirving Lozano's complaint and subsequent things that happened, I placed him on the transfer list. I received a few bids of around 15M, but deemed these as too low. I still believe he had no right in the first place to react the way he did, whenever he DID play, he just played awful. Plus that Fabio Vieira just plays a lot better. After the transfer deadline he is still at the club. - Tottenham made a 86M offer on Osimhen, which I rejected. There were no bids of any other clubs (Though Juventus made a loan offer which was out of the question) after this. - Berat Ozdemir got a 23,5M offer of Barcelona, decent, but greedy as I am, plus that his estimated value was higher, I eventually rejected. Obviously unsettled the player, but managed to convince him around. - After Milan's bid on Koulibaly we did not get any other offers. - Kevin Mbabu was sent on loan to Lazio with a mandatory future fee of 2,3M. - A newgen was also sold for 6M (Name not that important lol). - Obviously Riccardo Calafiori has joined the club. - On my quest for improvements to the defence I turned my attention toward Diego Paolino, he is a newgen who I have been after since my Bordeaux spell, but he chose Man City at the time. He wanted to leave to have more playing oppertunities, and I signed this now wonderkid for 20,5M. Very happy with this lad, I think he's a gem of a player! Plus, he can play on the right too. Diego Paolino profile: Maybe I should have sold Lozano for the fee received to hopefully improve the atmosphere again, but I hope that with time it will solve itself. We'll see how it goes...

Forza Napoli sempre! - Moving from France to Italy!
But they will have to pay a lot, not letting him go without a fight. Yes, a lot of games to play, I do not think Roma will keep up their run for the title. They have Scuffet in goal for God's sake...

FMG Build A Squad Challenge 3
Sorry mate, forgot about this one... Was a little busy with real life and stuff! Seemed like a nice challenge to me though, but start another and end this one 😉

Forza Napoli sempre! - Moving from France to Italy!
I was 14th when I started, so I moved up pretty quickly! Berardi is still at Sassuolo, he is 31 now, still a good player, but I won't make a move for him. Preferably I would like to keep Osimhen at the club, he is an obvious key player, but for over 120M, I would sell him and look for talent. He is definitely awesome, but for a high bid like that I would probably let him go. Meanwhile Bordeaux (coincedence or not) have expressed interest in Zielinski and Mbabu...

Forza Napoli sempre! - Moving from France to Italy!
In the mood a little to play... Just a little update. As said, the first game is against Udinese. The game was equal, though we were 2-1 in front quite easily. In the 89th minute Udinese decided to score the equaliser, but a few minutes later super-sub Oscar scored the winner! A narrow win, I have to admit we were pretty lucky. Next is the 5th CL game against Olympiakos, we had a small chance to reach the next round if we would win the remaining two games. It was a tough match which ended with ten men for us, but despite being one man down, we scored twice in the final 10 minutes to take the win. With the win we secured third place, we're unable to reach the second round of the CL. Up next is an away game against Sassuolo, I replaced Scamacca with Belotti because he seems to be a better fit for how I tactically want to play (Scamacca is more of a target man, I want to play fast and flowing football) and he brilliantly scored the only and winning goal: 1-0. Our first home game with me in charge is against Salernitana. It wasn't a difficult match as we dominated, though we only narrowly won, but never in real trouble, 2-1. Roma are league leaders at this time, and it was my next test. The first half was equal and we were 1-0 behind, but in the second half we turned it around and eventually won 2-1. Next is the final CL match against Real Madrid. I have simulated this match because there was nothing at stake anymore and saw Osimhen score a hattrick in a 3-3 draw. Schedule and results: Competition overview: I have not lost a game yet with this team, we play pretty good games so far, though we have yet to really dominate games and score a little more. Nonetheless, we moved up in a few league wins from 14th to 5th pretty fast. I have also made my first purchase. I was looking for right defenders but was not satisfied with the players I found and scouted... So decided to shift the focus to a left defender, so Renan can move to the central position (Gozzi isn't good enough). I went to buy a player who I wanted to replace Wijndal with when at Bordeaux, that is right: 23 year old Riccardo Calafiori is joining Napoli from Atalanta for a total fee (plus installments) of 50M plus future fees. More teams are after Osimhen now, Milan and Juventus have joined the chase. He is worth 102M to 111M and obviously I would want more than that (I'm greedy). I wanted to extend his contract but thanks to a bug in the game regarding promises (Which I removed prior) I was not able to.

I agree! Although the show is entirely fictional, experts say the killers were accurately portrayed

Binge worthy tv
I asked that question to Netflix customer service myself, and that guy said (although he probably doesn't know at all) that David Fincher was pursueing other projects, contracts of the cast have been released and as such the series is not cancelled, but on indefinite hold. There is little to no news about it... It's a shame though. I know a lot of people think the show is boring. For me it is probably one of my favorite Netflix productions
