  1. Narrow win I think... 2 1, but I think City will win eventually
  2. All spread across his own house... Yeah, and he keeps boasting about it
  3. City gets my vote tonight
  4. This is kinda similar to The Ted Bundy tapes, but I have read and watched so many docs and articles about him, I already knew all that stuff (btw, 'Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, And Vile' is also a good movie with an extremely good role of Zac Efron, who looks just like him). About John Wayne Gacy I didn't know that much, so this was an interesting watch! I however am waiting for a movie (although this event is very well documented) about Jim Jones...
  5. Nice challenge considering the reputation of Newcastle... I don't think you will have to spend both entire budgets...
  6. My vote goes to @VyKing, he's done very well with not spending everything 👌
  7. 5M... Bargain if you ask me! Especially for a club playing CL! Money back and more with playing the group stage 🤣
  8. Well, I've let you known I might want a new challenge after winning the league title, and after the match against Stade Brest Napoli approached me with an interview, which I attended. According to the media Brendan Rogers was first choice to replace previous manager Marcelo Gallardo, but Napoli decided to appoint me. Very happy with this challenge, but Napoli is also very ambitious. Club Vision: The club sit in 14th position at the moment, but I'm still expected to rise the table to secure Europe Conference League qualification. Within 4 seasons the club is expected to win the Serie A title. I have been given a 30M transfer budget, and a 2,8M (Currently spending 2,5M) wage budget, so there definitely some room to improve the squad in the winter. Squad: The squad looks decent, but there is definitely room for improvement in some areas. My first match is against Udinese...
  9. I must say I haven't seen that before... Looking to sell the club (while there is still money to be made from it lol)
  10. Actually, now me and Markitos have totally exceeded expectations for two seasons now, I expect nothing less than CL victory now 🤣
  11. Not really a bad squad, some young, talented players, and they're ambitious too. Title in 3 seasons... I will write more on that later!
  12. Honestly, I only know Sean Bean (well, for me his most familiar role) from GoldenEye. In which he dies 🤣
  13. That is going to be a challenge! How have the finances been? Hoping for some decent budgets!
  14. Challenge completed... 12 Germans, 4 Belgians, 8 Dutchies... Transfers: Finances: Homegrown status/registration: First XI:
  15. He has just always loved me more, that's all 🥰
  16. Do hope you stick around mate!
  17. Big Jay! 😍 my lover! 😍 Took you some time mate! Hope you stick around a bit, and do not forget to comment on my awesome and unique posts Yeah, somehow @Derek got me out of retirement/the gutter (see what I did there? 😏) and got me into designing again
  18. Already had a good squad with 15 Germans. Then I read 12 Germans plus 12 Belgian or Dutch players. Just wanted to be sure... Just don't tell ze Germans okay? 🤐
  19. Finally I have found some time to continue playing (Little busy (Mostly in my head) with my upcoming transfer to my new job). Anyway, starting against Lille away, again (especially Farias) we didn't take the most of our chances, but we won 1-0 quite easily, total control over the match and Lille didn't create much at all. Next is our first Champions League game against Borussia Dortmund, exciting and I think the most difficult opponent in the group stage. The opening stage of the game was ours and we were soon rewarded with a penalty, which Farias coolly slotted away. Early in the second half Cifuentes extended the lead further to 2-0. Was the first half slighty even with us having slightly an edge, in the second half we totally took over control, creating a load of chances... Only in the final 10 minutes Dortmund started to play football, but it stayed 2-0. A great start to our campaign! Next up is Nantes where goalie LaFont had the game of his life, but he alone could not save the game for them: 2-0. PSG away was next and as always it's a difficult game. They were everywhere and we were simply outplayed, despite them making two extremely costly mistakes at the back, 2-0 was the right result and maybe it should have been more. A more dominating performance against Clermont Foot saw us ran out easy 2-0 winners next. Our next CL game is against fierce rivals Ajax. Well, my rivals in real life off course, doesn't matter what club I'm playing with, always want to beat them, and believe me, it feels so satisfying when you actually do so. It's not 'Lucky Ajax' (one of their cute nicknames) this time, but lucky Bordeaux, Ajax was, as is expected of them, dominating the game, but we had Meslier who was absolutely brilliant, stopping everything left, right, center, and everything in between. Nene scored with a tap-in in the middle of the first half, and that would be the final score: 1-0. Six points in the CL, AND an away win against Ajax, happy, happy, joy, joy! Angers away was going to be next, and it actually was an easy game, we deservedly lead the game 3-0 but Meslier made two costly mistakes and cost us two goals, which I was fuming about because these goals were so not needed. These were Angers' only shots as well... So my mood went from 🤩 to 🤬 in a few minutes time. Still a win nonetheless... 3-2. Up next is OL at home. Despite being slightly better we drew the game in the last minutes of the game. Was a boring game though. Onto the opponent I've never heard of: Sigma Olomouc... An easy 2-0 win, no problem at all. Montpellier away was the following game and neither team managed to impress, a header of Jaime made the difference: 1-0. The next game against was a flattering 5-1 victory against Strasbourg, with Cifuentes bagging 4 goals. The game itself was fairly even, we were only slightly better. Next is the away game against Sigma Olomouc (Where the hell are they from anyway? *Looks* Ah, Czech Republic..). Dominating performance from the lads, 3-0 at half time with a brace from Cifuentes. In the second half something weird happened, we scored but at the same time there was a push as well. In real life the goal should count, but instead we were given a penalty, which Cifuentes subsequently missed, and right after that they scored the 3-1. Furious with this, though we won despite this. Despite the loss against PSG, happy with how we are doing, but PSG decided to not start the league bad this year, and are 8 points ahead of us... Schedule and results: Competition overview: Transfer news: David Rojas Cifuentes has asked me to move to a bigger club. After some attempts to convince him to stay, I told him he can leave if the price is right, not actively pursueing to sell him though... So his price is set at 156M which no club is going to do at the moment, so I think he'll stay for the time being. At the moment there is no interest in him either. Thanks to our strong financial position, both the wage and transfer budgets have increased to a little over 1M and 24,5M respectively. I have also made American player Brenden Aaronson (25) of RB Salzburg our top target via the media, as he is a player who is able to improve the team quite significantly, and at around 21M he is reasonably priced. PSG is also interested. I offered him a contract, but his agent snubbed my (generous) offer.
  20. Just to confirm by the way: Maximum of 12 German players, or may there be more than 12 with the rest being Dutch or Belgian?
