Last matches of the season, and we're doing well. In the Champions League we even managed to beat Juventus 1-0 (h) / 1-1 (a), but Chelsea proved a little too much for us, though those matches could have gone either way really... 0-0 (h) / 2-3 (a). Still, reaching the semi's was a great achievement! In the Ligue 1 we kept going strong, raking in the wins. and with one game in hand we won the title! There has been speculation all season about a possible takeover. After two attempted takeovers that both collapsed, a takeover is now complete just before the end of the season. No tycoon or something like that though! I think not much has changed. End of season review: Giorgi has been the player of the season for me with his goalscoring prowess... Who's next?

OGC Nice View File Pass the save Submitter Tempelman Submitted 06/15/2022 Category FMG Pass The Save

It was a good continuation of our season, though we suffered our first losses in every competition. 2-1 loss against Real Madrid, 2-1 right after that match against OM in the league, and our knockout of the Coupe de France against Monaco in the semi finals. Despite these losses, we beat Real Madrid at home 2-0, and we're still on top in the league! And we took revenge of our loss against Monaco and beat them right after that match 4-1. Right after we had to fight off PSG at home and drew the game. Schedule and results: Competition overview: Liverpool have made Cifuentes their top target.

I like it so far, plays a decent role as well!

I really hate Adam Sandler movies, with a few exceptions (for example: Click), though I always watch them, and always end up disliking them This is the first getting decent reviews, going to watch now.

PSG have a pretty much flawless team in terms of players, and a bench that's breathtaking as well..

Now this is interesting! Curious on how you will do, Holland in that year is top notch!

Playing further a little... We had some bad luck against Club and Valenciennes, both were draws, and should have been won. PSG lost their game so we extended the lead by just a mere point. We're pitted against Real Madrid in the first knockout round... Damn.. So far, we're tearing every single competition totally apart, dominating 99% of the games, with maybe a single exception. I absolutely can't believe we are still UNBEATEN halfway through the season. Unbelievable! The team as a whole are playing their hearts out, I mean, look at those averages! Schedule and results: Competition overview: Player averages: Transferwise we have made a few moves, first Pozo was sold for 6M to Valencia, slightly above his value. He is replaced by Charles Bogere for 4,9M Profile: I also wanted more options on the leftback side, so signed Jesus Vazquez who can play the whole left side, for 32,5M of Valencia. Profile: We also signed some future prospects... Profiles: Bayern made some disgraceful bids of 47M and 59M on Magno on the deadline day, way below his value, not gonna happen obviously. That's it! So it's going very well, can't praise the team enough.

I really had to think a day about it before going on with the game. I rejected an interview although the club matches my ambition to manage a bigger club. Reasons: - Looking at the squad more thoroughly, as a whole I didn't think they were good enough, obviously Felix and Oblak are the best but the rest is kind of mediocre. - There are a few older players who need replacing, and a lot of deadwood. - Middle of the season, probably means a low winter transfer budget, which would not nearly be enough to improve short term. - Though I was pretty tempted, I want to win the title with Nice, who are I believe more in balance in terms of players as well. All things considered, think I made the right choice here

Ummmmmm, guys? At this moment I could really use your opinions on this, I know we're building Nice up pretty well, but this is, well, a decent name that wants us...

Gotham is good! I liked the origin stories a lot, entertaining show. The scene with Jerome Valeska laughing hystirically still gives me chills (He seems to be an inspiration of the Joker). When I first watched Squid Game I was like... WTF is this...? It is a good show though! The others I still need to watch, not a real fan of the genre, I'm more into superhero themed shows or documentaries.

Little update, we dominated most matches, and haven't lost yet. Against PSG it was the first time this season we were behind. Troyes marked the second time we were behind at first, and the first time more than one goal conceded. PSG is still trailing 1 point behind us in the league, and in the CL we won all matches so far. Giorgi is top goalscorer with 24 goals in 20 matches, 19 league goals. Schedule and results: Competition overview:

Continueing this game a little... Strasbourg, who were surpisingly second at the time, proved to be difficult, but we deservedly took the win here, 1-0. Our first opponent in the CL Club proved no difficulty, as Cifuentes bagged a hattrick, 4-0. Montpellier was the next prey, 4-1. Against OM we completely dominated the game, with 24 (!) shots in the first half alone, 6-1 was the score. Lille also was no match for us as we won 5-0. Benfica was up next in the CL. Very tight match, though we totally dominated in the first quarter of the match. In the second half we managed to score, and hold on to the lead: 1-0 win. AJ Auxerre was next. We dominated, forgot to score in the first half, Almada opened the score early in the second half with a penalty and Saeid scored his first ever Nice goal, and in 5 minutes time we were 3-0 ahead. 4-0 was the final score. After the international break we were up against Lorient, we finished the game in the first half: 3-1. Leipzig... What a game that was. I was settling for a draw before Giorgi scored the winner in injury time, and Leipzig missed the draw with a shot on the bar! 2-1 win! We're first in Ligue 1 and the CL group!!! Schedule and results: Competition overview: Extended contracts of Giorgi (Huge interest) and Jefferson Keven. Sold Etienne Greene to Al-Shabab for 10,75M, bringing the transfer budget up to 23,5M.

I noticed you saying that, but I was trying to be ignorant and stubborn... I still think with his attributes Cifuentes will eventually play his best games on either wing. Cifuentes: 7 games, 4 goals (incl. hattrick in CL), 4 assists, 7,47 avg Giorgi: 7 games, 9 goals, 1 assist, 7,87 avg Magno: 7 games, 7 assists, 7,69 avg Both seem to be doing well, maybe they needed to adjust... I knew from my Bordeaux game Cifuentes needed quite some time to adjust to the wing position. He already wants to leave Nice for a bigger club though...

Okay, let's get it started! Decent pre-season, I don't play these games, but seemed okay. Decided to stick with @Derek's tactic and see what happens. Well, it certainly is a dominating tactic... Though we drew once against Brest at home, and narrowly won against Lens away. In the CL we drew against Benfica, Leipzig and Club Brugge, which I think should be a forgiving group, teams equal or maybe slightly less than ours. Schedule and results: Competition overview: - There was a LOAD of interest in Talles Magno, but no club ever made a bid, which, considering the interest, was weird. No biggies, I know his obvious talent. - Was looking to sell Arnau Comas because of his high value, age, and status in the squad, accepted 14,25M, but ultimately he decided to stay as a fringe. Will not feature much in my squad. - On deadline day Real Madrid made two bids (around 38M) on Rayan Ait-Nouri, rejected both. - Sold Helinho for 7,75M to Lazio, don't think he will be good enough. - Xavi Simons has been sold to Bayer 04 for 15,25M, very good fee. - Janis Antiste wanted to leave, considered him a backup option. 12M to Hertha BSC. - Jonas Krumrey has been sold for 2,2M to Werder, was in the second squad so happy to sell. - Antoine Mendy, also second squad, was sold for 3,4M to Mallorca, enjoy the sun there! - Antonio Oliveira has been sent on loan, I think this would be best for his development. - Bamba Dieng sold for 5,25M to Levante. - Claudy Noc sold for 9,75M to Newcastle. - Looking for midfielders, bought Yari Verschaeren off of Anderlecht for 28M. - Also bought Dorgeles Nene as a rotational player for the AMC and striker position, I'm sure he will feature in quite some games. - I thought we could also use a new goalie, bought Dominik Livakovic for 25M of Newcastle. Still have some budget left for the winter... Starting XI:

Glancing at the squad for the first time, it certainly is a very talented squad! A lot of young talents! I obviously knew some of them (Jacopi and Cifuentes)... Though the midfield is kind of weak (I think), I will look to improve this first, and with a 26M transfer budget I think I could do that. I was offered a new contract from Nice, I see it is expiring. I COULD leave them or continue. Shall I take a gamble and see if I can succeed elsewhere?

GoGoGo @Derek! Napoli definitely did not age well in this game! They made much better signings in mine! I think you rejecting them was totally justified

One of the benefits of having an owner who throws billions at the club... I think he spent around 1,5B at the moment -

Want to finish this transfer period now! Playing Juventus first in the Super Coppa, I don't regard this as much important though. We lost 3-1 deservedly, and Livakovic made a massive mistake with a shot from 45 yards or so.. Cosenza was next in line and we dominated to a 5-0 win, with Osimhen bagging 4 goals. Spezia in the Coppa is next, we trashed them 6-1 with again Osimhen bagging 4 goals! Bologna away then, it ended with a simple 3-0 victory, and a 'new signing' scored on his debut. Up next is Atalanta at home. A narrow win, though we dominated the match, 2-1. The final game before the transfer deadline is against Sassuolo, Osinhem showed his good recent form and scored a hattrick, 6-1. Schedule and results: Competition overview: On to the transfers where we have made some MAJOR moves... Like I said the transfer budget was upped to, well, a lot.. And I wanted to spend it all. - My first target is a newgen named Giorgi Jacopo, @Markitos signed him in his game and I have been after him for a while too. He will move from us from Liverpool for a record fee of 140M. He will probably play on the left wing. (Note: he is the 'new signing') Giorgi Jacopo profile: We had an extremely busy deadline day... - Fabian had an offer of Barcelona and wanted to leave, 29,5M was slightly above his value. - Fabio Vieira has also left to Man City for a total fee of 72M, happy with the deal, above his value. - Luka Romero was under transfer bid from Liverpool and I think they overpaid with 50M. Happy to sell, way above his value. - As replacement for Fabio Vieira I bought a 21yo Italian newgen of off Atalanta, Aaron Bertocchi is his name and he can play in multiple positions, for a fee of 79M. Aaron Bertocchi profile: - Also looking to improve the midfield, and believe me, I had such a hard time as players I had shortlisted for this position (Moriba, Musiala, Bellingham, De Jong, Zakharyan and Tonali) all shot up in value on deadline day, naturally. Finally settled on Nicolo Barella of Inter, for a total fee of 115M. Although he is a little on the old side, I had to make a move since the midfield has weakened with the sell of Fabian. He will play with Gravenberch in midfield. Nicolo Barella profile: All signings made were Italian, this was most of the time intentional, I want to make Napoli a more Italian team instead of a team consisting of many nationalities. Transfer overview: Ideal first XI: Extremely happy with the squad at the moment! I think the transfer period was very succesful! Though we lacking in depth in central midfield at the moment. First I had too many midfielders, I now I don't have enough. But we'll cope with it, and obviously a next target is a talented midfielder. Edit: A look at our sponsors... The money is insane! Sponsor overview: -
I tried to buy this guy in my Napoli game, he seems really good! Though in my game he was at Liverpool already and they would not let him go Terrific season really!!
