cameosis replied to Derek's topic in Creators’ Club (Kits - FMG Kits)'s FMG Kits Creators Discussioni’d slightly thicken the inner part of the collar that is not part of the outline/silhouette of the jersey, but even more so, the collar’s outline (both partizan and that other terrible jersey). if you look at the bottom hem (front part), its line is as thick as the line of the longer rear part and thus, the outline. gives it a more harmonious look. the thinner collar becomes an optical anchor and distracts a bit from the overall look of the jersey. by the way, derek - do they really have the slogan in english on the inside of the collar?

the textures are interesting on an individual level but lose their appeal in the long run due to the fact that a creator cannot (yet) afford a huge level of variation for the effects to make it look more »organic« in the sense that the pattern for the effect doesn't become noticeable immediately. this becomes more evident the more pronounced an effect is and the bigger the number of graphics is to which it is applied, such as logos. sortitoutsi has picked the worst template with the outdated and plain ugly metallic effect, but i believe one of the reasons they have to stick with it is the sheer number of logos included in that pack and lack of their own alternative that would date as far back. after the novelty wears off, packs without effects win in the long run. besides, not every shape is equally well-suited to effects. there is a reason almost everyone picks circular logos for their previews. 😁

the kits are great - it’s the club that drives you closer to site removal 🤣 but damn is that style a burner, i already said this - such a nice contrast to the hyper-realistic kit templates out there, which are brilliant in their own right, but they look mostly the same, given that they capture the realistic look. this has more of an infographic feel, especially when you look at a club profile with all the data and stats. and i’ve mentioned this before, i have a soft spot for the simply kits, they have always been among my favorites. this variant is the closest we’ll get to a revival. i would really like to see this being picked up by a lot of players. however, humans are creatures of habit, so we shall see - they usually stick to stuff they are familiar with.
