  1. October '23 A very busy month of October on and off the pitch with a couple of big wins, a draw that saw 6 goals and a 3-0 loss against 2nd place, leaving us 3rd place going into a very short November in terms of only 2 gams. A take over from Russian director Gleb Nikitin has changed the whole dynamic moving forward with the offer of a 2 year contract extension and a coaching course for my National C licence. The takeover hasn't presented any extra funds so we are currently working with £0 transfer fee and -£759 wage budget which makes working with the youngsters a must. 4 games left of the first half of the season with us currently punching above expectation, maybe a summer move is on the cards to increase my chances of winning my first continental title.
  2. Aug/Sept '23 A very good start to the campaign with 3 wins 2 draws and a loss putting us into 4th in the league after 6 games. Injuries have meant bringing up a 15yr old right back and a 16 year old left winger The U21's is full with 15/16 year olds with a few to keep my eyes on during my time here. After being turned down for a coaching course out of fear of bigger clubs offering me a job, I'm going to see where we are by mid season and see where that takes me. League Table
  3. July 2023 Transfers Zero Transfers out, brought in players to fill in weak positions. Updates Season Preview Friendly results More a squad gelling pre season to help with the tactic and see where we need improvements. Next month's update will be the first League update.

  5. The Challenge To win every continental title in the 5 confederations. The Route We are starting in Africa in the South African 1st division, moving onto Asia>North America>South America>Europe The Rules We start with zero coaching badges and Sunday league management. The aim to develop as a manager as we progress. We only apply for managerial jobs that see us progress. Once we win a continental trophy we leave that team to look for a job in the next continent. The database Using the most upto date transfers from around the world Post updates Once a month I will update with a summary and screenshots of my progress
  6. It makes sense to ditch fm25 if it wasn't ready and concentrate on fm26 taking what they've already done and carry it on with the next version. The community has a lot of great databases out there to keep the game upto date until fm26 and SI knows this. I can't imagine the abuse Miles will be getting regarding this though which is uncalled for and unneeded but it seems the gaming community as a whole has gone down hill in that regards. The problem for SI now is they need to do something very special with FM26 to win people back around.
  7. Bottom of the Eredivisie while ajax sit on top
  8. So which club have you adopted as one you support from playing FM, could be from any version of FM you've played all the way back to FM05 or maybe a team you took control of in the CM series if you are like me and where around when dinosaurs roamed the earth. There's been a few clubs that I've become interested in through my time but none have captured me like my time at HNK Rijek in Croatia. I've been really enjoying the current save I have going with them, so far my biggest achievement is taking them to the round of 16 beating Napoli, Inter and Ajax in the run. What club has captured you?
  9. I tweeted this in response to FM's announcement, it's like CM4 all over again...... Atleast this time they apologised.
  10. I need to look into RDF scouting method and make notes

We don't wear kilts in Yorkshire we drink Yorkshire tea wear flat caps and have whippets 😆
  12. My only issue with AC recently is how samey it all feels just with a different setting. I'm hoping they've learnt with shadows because this is going to be a huge test to see which direction they go in the future.

  16. So today we get the unveiling of the next installment of Copy and Paste football from EA. Are we really expecting much from it? Who's going to be buying it? Which mode do you mainly play?

How's those fish and chips taste pal? Abit too salty? 😏
  19. See this is similar to so many clubs here in England in what seems like a yearly occurrence. Macclesfield where folded, Bury folded, Palace into administration and saved Sheff Wed into administration and saved, Portsmouth nearly being wound up etc etc. It's always due to poor management of the club even now we are in danger of falling down the same trap because of our chairman. I hope someone comes in and takesover instead of just invests, but aslong as Vitesse lives on you have a club to support and we all know the escape weekly football brings to fans of all back grounds. I also imagine with a passionate set of fans like Vitesse has it'll never just disappear even if they start again from the bottom as a phoenix club. FC Vitesse of Arnhem.
  20. Wouldn't dream this on any football fan. I'm sorry to hear it as a fan of someone that had a club in administration on the verge of extinction. I hope someone comes through and pulls Vitesse out of this mess, 1 because the history of the club and the fans deserve a club to support and if they do lose the club I hope there's a phoenix club and 2, because I'll miss giving you crap about them.
  21. Going to go down as a Utrecht Legend mate this is a great career
  22. EFL

Worse decision known to man, didn't last the season and ended up with them being relegated. Shot themselves in the foot here really, I think Rooney should have been given to the end of the season atleast to bring in his own squad or some players. But it also meant the might blue and white wizards managed a back to back miracle season so I'm not complaining, can't wait to see a season under Danny Rohl.
  23. Great Idea count myself in.
  24. I think we've all @Tempelman included have all missed the mighty conquerors of Vitesse..... Looking forward to more of this mate
  25. I'd say after the season they've just had in real life. I'd jump at the chance to emulate or atleast be at a bigger club and push on
